Hi, I always thought how much other people vape their "meds", anyone have pics of his herbs after vapeds? My cam is not good enough to take good macro pics, but will love to see yours.

I found out that mine usually looks a lot like it did before it was vaped. It is darker, of course, and the trichome heads are mostly gone. I was surprised at how much the texture remains intact. I usually use a Hotbox, and it looks like this when I am done with it:

For comparison, here is a shot of some pre-abv:

That said, it looks like I could still get some use out of the ABV.

Really interesting. I use an Iolite and my meds never get so brown, maybe because of the temp never getting higher than 200. Thx for your picks!

Strange. Of all the vapes I've owned, I think the Iolite left me with the darkest ABV.

It would be interesting to compare vaped macros between different vaporizers. How did you took that macro?

Also, wasn't there another thread that had vaped macros? Tried to find it but i failed or i just imagined that thread in my head. :D

I took it with a Veho USB Microscope. The shots are at 200x and 400x. I tried to use a real microscope, but the lighting wasn't great.
I agree that the ABV from the Hotbox did appear dark. I had also left the whip on the heat all night, so I dug out my Extreme Q to see what that did. I think this is more typical of what most ABV looks like:

I always hear about the extreme Q being able to evenly vape loads, but that pic doesn't seem to show that IMO. I've never used it so I can't comment on how even the ABV looked to the naked eye.

Is that a puck of abv?

Kind of, I have these small containers that I bought (8 for $2) and I stuffed one with as much ABV as I could just to see how much I could fit. The last bit came out the shape of the container. That stuff was still good, so I ate it with some peanut butter and got a very nice sedating effect with just enough cannabinoids left to make it not feel empty.

You like the containers? I'm getting tired of lugging a mason jar around :(
