Using my old E-Nail box to power a ball vape?

I have been interested in getting a ball vape setup together. I have an e-nail unit with accurate temp control and the standard 5-pin plug that a Vendor 3D printed and assembled for me a couple years ago. I have a coil with a cord to plug into it that fits a banger but I am not much of a dabber so I don't use it much. I have seen that a lot of the ball vape units use the same kind of 5-pin corded coil wand attached to the ball vape unit. Would I be able to buy just the ball unit and wand and possibly use it with my E-nail unit? Has anyone attempted to do this with their E-nail? Any advice is much appreciated!

Yes, people do this all the time (not me, I just read about it). You need a coil and head of a matching size, I believe 25 mm is the most common but they go up to 40 mm. You "screw" (twist) the head down into the coil and off you go. Reply with your coil size (inside diameter) and someone will point you to a matching ball head.

It is a very wide banger and coil. Much wider than the standard quartz banger so I assume it is the 40mm. I will have to try and measure later or ask the vendor who gave it to me. Could you recommend a 40mm option in the meantime?

The important thing is making sure the XLR pin-out of any coil matches the configuration of your enail controller. See this page.

I bought an Auber and a 16mm Disorderly Conduction coil from VGoodiez for my ZX (which came separately from Phase 3).

Thanks! Looks like the ZX is kind of hard to get right now. Any other Head/Chamber brands I should look at?

I misspoke, most of them are 20 mm. The TIODW Titanium XL v2.0 from AliExpress is 30 mm.

There are so many. Most of the artisan ones (Phase3, Cloud Connoisseur) are pre-order and well worth the wait, but while you wait for that you can also grab stuff quick from @VGOODIEZ, I assume the shipping to CA is fast. Check the wiring of your controller and then shop away. Your coil sounds very large and may not be suitable but they've got what you need (assuming the wiring matches). Their Cannabis Hardware section has a variety of heater heads, balls, and coils. The B0 is where I started and it is still a very fine vape. Vgoodiez will be happy to advise and probably would even set up your head/coil for you if you wanted, then you'd just need a bowl and a stand. That would get you rapidly up and running and will be powerful enough to meet your needs and show you the ropes while you learn about which specifically would fit you best.

The baller comparison thread will have tons of info on various heads and approaches:
