I love them for shatter bc nothing sticks to them, you never lose anything! But i use a sharp tool to cut through my shatter. I noticed today that when I use the container as a cutting board it is creating indentations in the containers (I just stick my sharp tool into my container to break off a piece). Im not sure if cutting the shatter on the surface in the container is smart bc maybe the silicon is slicing off and getting into my shatter? IDK!
Will these silicon containers flake off if you use them as a cutting board like I am? I can't tell if they are just indentations that don't compromise the surface or if I have actually sheared off pieces...
What do you cut your stuff on? I use shatter mostly.
