Cartridges are a convenience for me that I feel mixed on. I don't like all the waste but I've never had one leak and the ability to take discrete hits anywhere is really nice (I puffed on one an almost empty movie theater once). The oil inside isn't as nice as live resin or nice rosin and they can be priced pretty expensively, 40 to 60 before tax for a full gram cart, where as a good gram of live resin can be had for as little as $30 pre-tax here.
Would absolutely never recommend unlicensed carts or purchase one, you have no idea what's in them and like you posted, pesticides are a huge problem, especially when dealing with concentrates.
