I had terrible luck with fashioning an herb chamber I posted about last week. A few cuts and a burn and I decided that I'm better as an idea guy. So now the only other idea I have would be something like the Solo's glass stems, or a glass platform with small holes that acts as a median between herb and the herc rod, kind of like a big glass screen.
Also, as a replacement to the coils: can anyone see why a porous ceramic like what's used in the Vapor Genie, or the Healthstone products, wouldn't work in a Hercules? Shaped just like the coils now, but made of ceramic with the porous texture of volcanic rock.
Finally, had a bunch of reclaim in my oil dish that tasted pretty burned and terrible. So after loading this in to the 40 coil I've been using, I added a little less than 4 drops of e-cig liquid flavoring, sans nicotine. It isn't deeply flavored like an e-cig but it does do a great job of masking the off-taste of the overheated reclaim. I imagine the liquid / vg is changing the viscosity of the oil (if they are mixing well). So if you have a bad flavor profile and you have some VG, put a couple drops.
It looks beautiful though! Have to try and rectify this situation pronto.
