It wasn't till I got to the very bottom of the page that it dawned on me that you maybe don't play with a yo-yo for excersize....

been a long day

Ha! No the yo-yo reference was meant to draw a parallel with the yo-yo diet. For exercise, I play with other things.

Well I'm a tall guy (192cm/6'3") and 38, with back problems on both sides of my family, but so far mine is holding up well. I think my yoga certainly helps, as I got my 65-year-old dad to to a dozen salutes to the sun each day for his back, which has given him trouble on and off for a the last 2 or 3 decades, and his problems have cleared up.

But yeah the good herb is excellent for aches and pains too. And I get the feeling it's good for all kinds of ailments. Last week I came down with what felt like the beginnings of the flu (for the first time in at least 5 years) but it only lasted a day and a half. I was feeling a bit shaky one evening, and the next day I was feeling icky, achy and shivery, so I got well vaped for the day and relaxed. Next day, all gone.

my flu's/colds always lost only about 1,5 day, starts with a sight headache in the evening, anda dry/soar throath from vaping, next day bit tired and headache(headache cured by vaping), then one night where I wake up every few hours, the next day the headache starts getting less but the tiredness i still there because the bad night sleep, after the next night it's mostly over
the very first symptom now tough is heightened tolerance, since it's very difficult for me to get high while I'm sick, only succeeded once with a lot of bongrips. but it does relieve sickness-symptoms eventough I just feel sober

Tell me about it. I've had joint pain since I was a wee young lad. Spent the better part of half my life telling doctors that I was in pain and not a single one took it seriously. Then I switched doctors to a somewhat younger guy, maybe mid-40's? He took me seriously, did an xray in his office 20 mins after I told him about my pain, figures there's liquid in my knee. Then after a while I got a referral to a specialist who said I was just hyperflexible and didn't have enough collagen in my joints, and I'd have to live with it forever. No marathons, repetitive tasks, etc. I got tramadol and a NSAID to help the pain, and just Sunday finally got my card. I've reduced my opiate intake by half already. and it's barely been two days.

Anyone in California? Crazy weather! Sunny, rain, sunny again, freaking POURING! on Sunday. Saw so many car accidents on the freeway.

SoCal here.

Crazy weather? Lookin' at all those pics from tornado's over the last year, I'd say we have it pretty damn mild here. We really needed that rain. We actually need a lot more. It's been a very mild winter, as was last summer. What was really freaky was that windstorm we had here a few months ago. THAT was insane especially here in the San Gabriel valley.

We've had crazy weather here in Michigan too. The high hit 90 a few days ago and we had a freeze last night. And last week there were bad storms, including a few tornado's that hit. Not your typical Spring.

... Have to agree with lwien...(although i'm in nor cal) this "winter" has been really benign...no rain, little cold, people still bitching..

nice sunny weather for the past week/few weeks here, hope it won't be like last year again, when it was beautifull and warm very early, but very dry, no rain till july, and then it was cloudy and rainy for the rest of summer.
wich meant that in spring seedlings had it dry, slugs were hungry and in summer they didn't get much sun and a wet fall, vulnerable to budrot(but my plants didn't make it far enough that budrot was a problem :()

I'll be working one day sweating and then it's raining cats and dogs the next :( Damn cold and humidity makes my joints ache.

Born and raised here. Guess I'm kinda used to it.
Me too, oddly enough. This winter has been milder than the last ones but the quick weather changes this winter seem to occur faster than the last few winters if that makes sense.
