Solo2 or OG? Help me decide

Hi,

I want a solo unit.

Two options:

New Solo Og with 2 year warranty for 120$ (107€)

Or

Refurbished solo 2 with 1 year warranty for 140$ (125€)


18EUR price increase for the solo2. But only 1 year warranty.
I am a bit anxious because of the error codes.
They come from twisting an turning the stem while in the oven, right?

Advantage the Og has is that i get to choose the color and it has a user replaceable battery.
Any signs that there will be replacement batteries for the solo2 as well?
Solo2 would be blue.
Thats ok but not great.

Ended up with a new solo 2 @149€ this BF

When it arrives I will share but BF & CM sale will be over..

I have both and regret spending extra for a 2..........not that it is bad but performance wise it is not worth it.

I have had all the solos I can tell you that the og was a tank. You can rrpla e the battery wich I did twice. I would get the solo 2 at this point. Just able to dial in more precise Other then that they are really the same. If you don't care about size and digital tempgo with og. Sorry if this dont help you. They are both so good.

I'd get the 2 over the og anytime. It just looks better, easier temperature control, faster heat up time and bigger battery. Totally worth the 20 € difference. And it's also build like a tank had mine for a few months now and never worried the slightest about warranty issues.
