Thanks, all. Whether happenstance or skill (doubtful), my first real foray into concentrate making turned out quite nice. I mean REALLY nice...amber and clear and hits like the essence of kief. Will continue to work at it, however. Would prefer much more stability and workability. I haven't played with viscous taffey since I was about 9. Not complaining - I'm a very happy camper. But I'm all about upping my game. This thread has been very helpful.
I have read that proper BHO will capture the terps, whereas ETOH strips 'em out. Other than that, it's nice to know that ETOH can rise to the occasion. Will probably not mess with butane - at least currently. The "whoops" factor with me is a serious consideration!
