Odd Choice Battles - Gn0me vs Underdog

This might be a very strange comparison but it is one that I'm faced with. If you were to ignore the human and just look at device to device, what would be a better choice?

Flavour and Efficiency/conservation are two of my important categories. I have had the chance to use the gn0me before. The flavour was great. Pure. I have not been able to find an Underdog in the area to test! ( Who is from Portland ) I hear people on the UD thread saying the flavour is great.

I imagine UD would be a lot better at conserving than the gn0me. So points for the Underdog there but I could be wrong?

Price - gn0me wins here. I can get the classic slider plus an awesome compatiable bubbler all for less than $150. The Underdog itself would be over $200. If I were to go the UD route, I would have to get the LEV lattice bubbler to compliment it and that would take me a few more weeks to obtain. I can't tolerate dry hits very well...so till the lattice bubbler get here - I would be stuck with 1 direct dry hit from UD for a few weeks...Is this a sacrifice I need to make for better quality? or should I be like Now Now Now and go with the gn0me

Durability - I saw a couple of broken gn0me pics. I imagine UD is like a tank!

Ease of Use - ?? I don't mind using a torch. What kind of boy doesn't like fire!!

I'm trying my best not to get VAS or GAS. I also have a personality where I stretch something to it's dying legs before I can replace it. So what should I go for?

I would go UD....you'll get years of amazing vapor experience with it versus the gnome. Get the gnome down the road when you have an extra 50 bucks. I love my UD to death and it's always a great backup. Also, Dave just revised the cores in the UD so you can use old style log stems and the silicone style stems. He also put more insulation around the core to keep the wood longer.

In terms of efficiency, the UD would make it easier to conserve because it is fixed temp and small bowl, but with practice the Gn0me is just as efficient.

Flavour is on the gn0me side of course.

In terms of ease of use, the UD wins easily. Logs are a no-brainer... just fit the loaded stem and pull steadily, after 5 seconds you will exhale half a lung of cannabinoids.

But honestly, the gn0me slider is 20USD or something, that's like drinking a bit less on your saturday night out... i would get both.

(Bear in mind that i do have both a log and a gn0me, so i'm problably not the best example. )

I have both as well in my starting lineup, although I have a cone, not a slider.

I'd go with the UD. It's not really a fair comparison IMO. It's like comparing a car with a motorcycle. They can both get you from point A to point B, but the car is more comfortable to use. Some guys still ride bikes, though as they prefer to.

Of course getting both would be ideal.

I can't speak to the Gn0me, but you can't possibly go wrong with an Underdog. I have two!
