NV 4-piece stainless steel grinder

I had mentioned NVGrinders a while ago. They seem to have a wide selection of grinders: ceramic, stainless steel and aluminum. I was going to try to find out what it would cost to order from the US. I like having a choice. Especially, the stainless steel. With my arthritic hands it might be a deal breaker.

Looks like it has nice design on the grip and way fewer teeth than the SS blackleaf series, but the smallest model cost as much as two 59mm from BL. BTW SS grinders feel 10 times heavier ,might be a challenge with atritis, the 59mm two piece BL is 320 grams.

Arrgghh... Unfortunately the Medium model of the NV grinder is sold out and they told me it'll be back in 1-2 months :o

In any case, I noticed that the oval cutouts in the NV grinder don't go all the way to the edges of the plate. I think that could be a problem because some piece could get stuck in the edges with no way to fall down (unless the top teeth somehow pushes stuff inward?) :hmm:

I finally decided to get a small NV grinder and it's here!

It's nice and hefty. Definitely big enough for my needs. I really like how there are no sharp edges. Nice and rounded. The top cap is held by a strong magnet, and the rest are screwed in. They even threw in some extras! Me likely :)

I haven't found much online about NV Grinders, but did order a 4 piece & a 2 piece SS. They charge shipping unless your order is over $120 Euros, so that's why I ordered 2. I haven't received them yet, but am hoping that they work well. Does anyone know anything more about these? They were the cheapest non-Ali or Temu SS grinders I could find...

Got this one from Ali and it grinds a bit too coarse for my taste and you have to grind a lot while pressing to get the herb through the holes that are not of a great design. For a few bucks more the blackleaf is a lot better.

From the pictures on the site it looks identical to the SS grinder I recently bought from AliExpress.
They have both a V1 and a V2 model. You're right, that the V1 and the Gordon 304 from Ali look the exact same! I ordered the 48mm one from Ali for $19.26 & figured it was worth the gamble for a Stainless Steel grinder. If I don't like it, I'll give it to somebody! :)

How is the one you bought working out?
Yeah it's all good for that style of grinder, I've just realised I don't like those anymore and that's why I'm getting a Stona soon.

I'm sure the more expensive ones are a bit smoother/nicer but it does the job well. I don't feel any manufacturing issues with it, grinds medium to medium-fine depending on the herb you have.

I did a longer post reviewing it with pics on the herb grinders thread.

Thanks Simba for your post, I just purchased a Stona factory second on their 420 sale (for $101.11) and am excited to use and compare it!
