I'm selling a VapeXhale Cloud + Vertigo Hydratree package. I am willing to split it up so PM me if you're interested in either half, though ideally someone is interested in it all.

The Cloud is NOT WORKING (and out of warranty). Plug it in and it lights up red. But then it stays red and fails to ever heat up. It has the silicone sleeve on the unit as can be seen in the picture. I've peeled it back, thinking about opening the unit, but decided that once I get inside I wouldn't have any clue what to do. So I stuck the sleeve back on and figured I'd see if anyone out there was interested in getting this unit really cheap to try to fix it themselves. The Cloud is only a month old (it was a replacement for another unit that died right before the warranty expired, and the warranty doesn't reset on the replacement unit), so it's a very new unit. It lights up. Just won't heat. This happened to my last unit as well and at the time SM guessed that the heater came unfused, which to me sounds like it may be a simple enough repair.

The Vertigo Hydratree is in great condition. It's the only HT with a protruding joint. I love how this thing hits. Zero drag, nice smooth vapor, good balance of flavor and diffusion for it's size. Nothing more I can really say. It's been babied since day 1.

I'm asking $175 + shipping for the Vertigo HT and $160 + shipping for the Cloud. I'll sell the package for $275 + shipping for the package. OBO All offers will be considered.

You stated that is was out of warranty but only a month old...how can that be?

It was a replacement unit for a unit I had that died with only about a month to spare on the warranty. And the warranty doesn't reset for the replacement.

EDIT: I've updated the OP to clarify this point.

If I may ask, what is the experience from the tube diameter for the opening on top. Is it like hitting the SGW, a more traditional waterpipe (bong), or is it flared in to a kinda mouthpiece like the Evolver pieces?

I haven't hit the SGW so I can't compare - I think that's the only one I haven't hit actually. It's like hitting a bong with NO drag. Similar feeling on the mouth as most straight tubes I've tried.

$250 + shipping for the package! I know someone out there has faith in their ability to fix this thing! Plus, this is the only way to get a Vertigo Hydratree now :o

So it could be as simple as re-soldering the heater?

That's my guess based on what happened to my previous unit because this one died the same way. It light's up red but without any heat, so it would make sense that the heater just came loose. I can't imagine a heater burning out or anything like that in a month's time. But obviously I can't make any guarantees since I don't know for sure.

They sent you a brand new cloud and it died shortly after you got it?

Yup. It died one month after receiving it. It was working perfectly fine during that month. Then one afternoon I went to turn it on, it lit up red, and then a half hour later I realized it was still just red.
