Save the seasoning for supper. Q-tip after every dab to keep the SH clean. Dip an end in distilled water and swab if you have some gunk that isn't wanting to come off.

650F on the Newvape PID with smallish dabs is about the lowest temp I can use and still get some vapor back. I only have the OG carb cap though, perhaps the Ti cap milks better? The SS version is a reclaim magnet.

FWIW, I’ve found the Ti-Cap to be a reclaim magnet as well, it’s the only piece I haven’t been able to easily clean with ISO/PBW, shits stuck on there real good.

That's interesting you find yours hard to clean, mine cleans quickly with ISO, I just find that even with pre-heating the cap before use, the design has so much mass and just collects a ton of condensate. I don't even use the cap a ton myself, but it still gets used for dabbing by other people in the house frequently so I'm always watching it function. I should probably get the Ti version, but IDK what to do with this big SS medallion besides maybe turn it into a NewVape pendant. I've been thoroughly pleased with every other part of the Showerhead experience except this cap. I guess they discontinued it recently.

Dude that's a cool idea. We could all be wearing our carb caps and looking PIMP

What a killer way to represent the FP lifestyle and get use out of something lots of us never use. ;)

Not unusual, what's the question? They only sell what's on the site, no custom orders.. I've tried. They may reply in time, but it's a small shop. Respect! -YaMon

No problem, but take it with a grain of salt. I do have that stereo matrix, the egg NV sells, and my first very simple and low diffusion bubbler that leaves the most flavor, but everything I say is based on those three and what I’ve read from other people.

If you were happy with the piece you linked, you may have no issues with the stereo matrix. My only real issue with it is the relatively high loss of flavor, and that is only in comparison to one of the most simple percs I’ve seen.

I just took a couple of pics for you guys so you can see what I’m taking about. :)

It was cheap, only like $50 from a LHS in the US, but that was 3 1/2 years ago so I don’t know if you can find this exact piece new right now. It’s so simple though, I’m sure someone still makes something similar.

Flavor-wise, comparing it wet and dry it mostly just loses some grassy flavor, a little intensity, and it probably stops some tiny flower particles. Otherwise in the limited comparisons I’ve done (I don’t often use it dry) it’s not a dramatic difference in my opinion.

To expand a little on what @invertedisdead said, from what I’ve seen seasoning is either just not cleaning or deliberately burning a bunch of concentrates onto the dabbing surface without even using them.

I’m sure some would disagree, but I think the second option is a needless waste, and I’d rather just stick with keeping it clean. Unless you think it tastes bad clean, I don’t even see a reason to consider “seasoning”.

Oh, and I have a different experience on temps. It’s probably because I only use the tiniest dabs I can right now, but I don’t have any problems vaporizing small amounts of concentrates even in the mid 500s.

You might also want to try just putting some on top of flower (or a few double-weave screens) in the bowl!

I use a Q-Tip dipped in Iso, and swab the deck (inside of carb cap) freely, then wipe it dry.
I let the Q-Tip[ dry out, and I use the same q-tip with some Iso on it for the next time.
I do it and repeat until the Q-tip is dry and stiff to the touch.
I then un-peel the Q-tip's cotton and vape it in an empty chamber under the FP Showerhead.

My panhead bowl just arrived and I have a question:

What's the point in using a paperclip?
You tighten the bowl by just turning the handle so I don't get how the paperclip helps

it adds leverage for a tighter seal... like the leverage on a lug wrench.... for those of us without strength in finger grasp.

It provides just a bit more purchase. Set the stem in your water piece, lower the bowl until touching the rim of your water piece, finger tight and snug it up with a paper clip or pick. I suspect the idea is you do not need any proprietary tools and a paper clip or the like is readily available. Respect! -YaMon

Great minds think alike @Vitolo Sorry for the duplicate post, how does one delete?

hope I'm not late to the glass conversation. here's that TAG piece I was posting about earlier.

really like the large chamber and low effort perc. still getting used to the large volume. hope I can use it sitting down at some point lol but it's awesome. new DD for sure. I needed something after wanting to switch from the recycler since I'll just use that w my HN from now on

    edit:

here's the rig. i got a 2nds quality for 80 shipped but cant rly see the error. the brace has bubbles, but lol.

omg i was hoping you were gonna spot that, and almost tagged you calling you out! yeah, I finally bought that zane hella's i've seen you on about! I get pretty bad mucous issues sometimes, and have been taking another brand (doterra or whatever) dropping like 2-3 drops in an empty capsule then closing it and taking it with the rest of the junk i take, but need to figure out what works best with this stuff.

    cheers haha, nice eye dude

Good on you for being open to new ideas to help you out. The oregano is amazing for respiratory symptoms. It is also very beneficial to the digestive system, raising stomach acid and promoting peristalsis, as well as fending off unwanted invaders from the gut.

It is a suitable way to take it in capsule, it will still work on the whole respiratory system. I never do this myself, always direct under my tongue and swallowed with water. There is a knack to basically wash it down your throat after the right short length of time to just mix with a bit of saliva in the mouth, so that it doesnt burn and the taste doesn't linger too much.

The benefits to the respiratory system will be more immediate and effective this way, but not all people are made of stuff I am when it comes to mind over matter with these sort of things.

But- I can tell you of another 2 ingredients that are out of this world AMAZING for respiratory mucus. I need them both every single meal without fail. I also do "shots" in the morning just before I clear my lungs of mucus, and it massively enhances the effectiveness of the steam and the results. And the mystery ingredients?:

Turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Both incredible. If you can handle a little shot, take half to a teaspoon of each, either together or separate as and when needed. Instant gigantic upper respiratory congestion relief and opening of airways.

Can also be mixed into food. You can make a yummy sauce to pour on any meal with your fave spices mixed into Ex V Olive oil. But we only ever use organic spices now after discovering hands down that non-organic spices are absolutelt shit, pale versions lacking in taste, aroma and most importantly medicinal power. We get all spices online now, really vefy affordable if you find a good retailer.

Enjoy your new piece muunch, looks reallt good. Didn't notice any blowback either.

I don't take turmeric, but I take this curcumin I get from nootropicsdepot.

My mucous is actually not too bad yet but with spring approaching you never know.

That was the icing there. It hits great and retains flavor well. Quite thick too, maybe a bit tall... but that's not bad I guess. I did want something with a large chamber I could do nice rips with...and it doesn't have a huge mouthpiece hole either! It is a keeper. That setup in the vid will be my DD desktop setup for the foreseeable future... once the funds allow I will get a 2nd hexnail for my showerhead... but dang this current setup is satisfying for sure...

btw, I recently switched and instead of using a scoop, just been pouring from a jyarz classic... shamless @JyARz plus but I've quickly become obsessed with them... I grind into a satchmo using the new grinder... then pour that into a classic... then from there I can just take the glass out and pour easily into my FP bowl (or use as a dugout for my vapcaps, or just suck the herb into stem w tubo...)

...but I'm getting carried away now... can you tell I didn't finish my sativa blend from this morning and hit that during my video?

Tumeric and curcimen are basically the same thing. Tumeric is the root and curcimen is the active ingredient that is way more potent than just Tumeric alone. Great anti-inflammatory properties as well, also with black pepper. I use this for my autoimmune condition and it works well!!

Just like the my SH works well beyond belief!
I actually took the head apart and gave it a warm, soapy wash and it came out very clean! No white residue left!

Turmeric with curcimen got me off of prilosec and helps with mood too. Great stuff. I take that along with omega-3, B6 complex, pre/probiotics, devils lettuce, CBD isolate, multi-vitamin, glucosamine with MSM and Kava Kava. I havent had a headache in quite a while and when I take all those supplements with my mid morning snack I get a killer boost of energy and wellbeing through daytime.
