Just by grinding a little bit finer, I was able to drop my temps 20 degrees and still be very happy with my ABV color/uniformity. :)

Who knew there was so much modulation... Things also changed quite a bit when I took out my screen... and realized there was caked herb/oil around 50+% of it and switched out to a new one... massive airflow diff. lol... definitely amateur hour. this thing gets me too high and I neglected to clean it. whoops

It's looking like NewVape may escape destruction. It seems Irma has decided to drive up Florida's west coast rather than the east coast. Keeping my fingers crossed the world's best vape company escapes unscathed.

Had my first experiment with the flowerpot last night........ overall I'm very happy despite my limited use. For the record here's what I had to play with and how I set it up.

16mm wrap round with dnail SiC dish fitted
    16mm enail coil
Dnail carb cap (fits sung on the SiC)
14mm stubby with no handle, not a fan of the handle aesthetically got a silicon ecig topper on order ;).
Space case grinder with toasted cheese as the herb of choice (exodus cheese x fire99 auto), small load.
Dab/s come in the form of blues x hashplant QWET

Set up and pre heated for ten mins at 600f.

First I tried just herb, got visible vapour but it was thin. Next I tried my first double decker same temp and wow what a flavour, no harshness at all, amazing flavour and no vapor tail off either I'm sold on SiC but I will get me a sapphire dish in the future for the ultimate dabbing experience.

Then it tried using the flowerpot as you do the sub (heat both the nail AND bowl) to create a thermal equilibrium, dumped in a small load of TC and inhaled. Defiantly works but the flavour was diminished much more so maybe that's why people complain about the flavour when using the sub, conduction taking away flavour over the convection. Won't try it again now I know for sure

Finally I had a dab on its own again excellent for every occasion.

Found using the carb cap is needed at these lower temps, helped to extract more vapour and had very little effect on airflow or resistance of.

So next up I'll hike the temp up to 625f and experiment again, just need to dial in that temp for my needs.

But I love it already it's such a beautiful piece of kit, looks stunning performs admirably.

    Roll on further testing .

A shower head needs a shower cap like a violin needs a bow. The shower head's huge air with a shower cap make some fantastic vapor that feels like sweet music.
    LMAO!

High! I received it last week, and this is a beast for flowers.. I love it ;)

But as for dabs... taste isn't really there, sometimes really bad.. whatever the rig, temps, techniques or capping. Effects are there though hehe I have newvape enail 20mm, with sic dish. Any thoughts on this ??

Following this thread for a bit.. really nice! and I'm used to dabbing, and vaping for years.. but it is my first e-nail, maybe I get something wrong haha Thank's !!

The sublimator can give u one of the best hits for flower in one rip. I have the flower pot too, and you and get just about the same off the flower pot too. They are both top shelf vapes that do both at same time. Also have dnail sapphire and sic

I am still interested in comparisons between the Glass Symphony and the showerhead :D

Not that I think I'm going to buy another desktop... But I am curious. The few who have GS made it seem like some sort of next-level type thing but I continue to be impressed by the flower vaping ability of the showerhead on the daily.

I let a daily smoker (dumbass, too) try my FP last night. I gave him 1 "pinch" scoop of somewhat finely ground stuff (around .1) and let him rip. He made a face at me as he pulled and saw how milky it got and I knew this was gonna get interesting... He keeps going and then stops with the chamber still milky and pauses... exhales slow... then massive coughing fit... looks over at me with a defeated look and goes "...so does it just keep going...?"

Still another hit in there :haw:

    The flowerpot napdown:zzz::zzz::zzz:

I've been wondering about comparisons between these two, and the GS too @muunch

I'm not in the market for another desktop either, but I like all the info! :)

I was skeptical of the GS, but I have to say, the way it performs a voodoo exorcism on the herb is super interesting. It kind of reminds me of watching someone smoke a combustion bowl, the way the herb contracts then expands.

@Prolusio posted a pretty damn impressive video of his.

As far as I know, nobody with a GS has tried a Showerhead though, only the original Flowerpot.

I'm not crazy about the GS form factor though. I'm still hoping to one day see a machined 100% GE semiconductor grade Quartz flowerpot + bowl. I think that would be a total crusher.

Yeah it will be very interestimg watching these truly excellent top tier vapes evolve and stack alongside each other. It's like Ferrari and Mercedes!
I too watch keenly with popcorn. I don't believe any Symphony owners have the showerhead though. I am certain @lazylathe will succumb, sooner than he thinks!;)
That will be interesting. Also, how will Herbo Ti and FP owners feel about their Herbos after they try the showerhead?

And Herborizer are continually working on new upgrades/accessories.
So yeah, it's an exciting market, and I truly wish all these amazing pioneers equal success.

For sure. I'm glad a bunch of manufacturers (excluding a certain upcoming portable that seems to be the ultimate in over thinking everything, and a few others) have gone back to basics. Not so much of the flashy bells, whistles, apps and god knows what else, instead its just pure top notch, efficient, desktop extraction.

Thinking about it, the FP/SH maybe the first vape I've owned in a while where I dont have to give people a whole host of instructions before they use it.

Thanks! The way the GS hits is definitely unique. Makes me wonder what the material looks like down in the FP.. It would be super cool to watch the herb darken as hot concentrate filled air travels through it.

Would the herb filter the dabs and kind of rosin up before melting away? Or just quickly flatten and brown similar to the GS? I'm sure it's got plenty of voodoo going on as well.

I do consider the GS to be next level, but I feel the same way about the FP! They're in their own tier of device for me.

I don't even pull them out for friends anymore unless I know they are seasoned vaporists (or a smoker that can really handle their stuff). Newbies will fall alseep on your couch after one hit and you will spend the rest of your night quietly lurking FC cuz you're too polite to wake them. (Or I did at least :shrug:)

I haven't tried the showerhead yet (on my list for sure), still just rocking the 16mm Sic.. But for me the only thing that even compares to the FP for flower is the GS; which was designed purely around delivering the flower hits it does. But the FP blows the GS out of the water for concentrates and portability, and is absolutely amazing with flower as well.

As much as I love the GS if I could only choose to keep one it would be the FP. It's more versatile, more durable and delivers nearly unparalleled performance. You'd have to get some pretty high end devices to even compete with the FP in concentrates and/or flower (likely or); but the FP excels at both! It's a feat of vaporizing engineering which only continues to improve because Newvape is constantly releasing improvements based on our feedback.

For me the GS and FP are like two bowls of different flavour ice cream. I love them both equally for different, yet also the same? Reasons. If that makes any sense at all

Can't wait to get a showerhead.. If anyone feels like coming over with one to solve this mystery first hand feel free :brow::D

It looks like Boynton Beach dodged a bullet! Here is a report from a local paper.

    http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/u...llowed-drive-daylight/XBYp7gZ3IThgXgmTC9YvEN/

“We got very lucky,” Slater said.

Here are some of the findings:

    -Some debris on roadways

-Live power lines down on some streets

-Some street lights out. If so, use inersection as four-way stop sign

-Sterling Village portion of parking area off Federal Highway just north of Woolbright Road flooded

-Around 1 a.m. police found dozens of coconuts on Gateway Boulevard just west of Lawrence Road.

-Tables and chairs toppled over at Two Georges in the Boynton Harbor Marina off Ocean Avenue.

As for looting, officers do not know of any of that happening in the city so far.

Garbage will not be picked up Monday. :D

    @NewVape710,

is the fine grinder (2726) the same as the FG Armband (3076) regarding quality/consistency of grinding?
And what are the measures of used arm bands (mm)?

And why is the 3076 so much higher than the 2726?

I think they're exactly the same, it's just the 3076 one was made to be taller, and with the bands so that it is easier to turn (and without the anodizing etc)

The armbands are 8inch, so thats 203(.2)mm??

Hopefully I helped. I plan on buying one soon and am unsure of which I'll get, myself.

Yes same grinders , probably lighter weight as some metal was milled out to fit arm bands and it is probably a drop taller to accommodate the arm band , I think they are the typical arm band size that most sell online.

I am planning to buy a new desktop... but can not decide between the flowerpot and the herborizer ti...

what I am searching ... as some of you may know I am a cloud chaser so big dense vapor clouds are very important...
I also want to be able to microdose with my new desktop and looking to get also big clouds from small loads of herb...
also I am looking for a desktop which give me big flavourfull hits... also I want to mention that I am planning to use my new desktop mainly for flowers as it is hard to get good concentrate where I live... maybe also important I from europe...

1.) big vapor clouds? (scale 0 to 10 - (0 no clouds , 10 big fat clouds of vapor))
    flowerpot
    herborizer ti

2.) microdose and big clouds? (scale 0-10)
    flowerpot
    herborizer ti

    3.) taste? (scale 0-10 (0=bad taste 10=superior taste)
    flowerpot
    herborizer ti

    thank you!

what is your opinion @lazylathe as far as I knowmyou havenboth of them and I watched your videos several times...
and of course all other members who can help me making a decision!

I have never tried a Herborizer but can tell you my honest opinion on the FlowerPot. I give question's 1,2 & 3 all a 10 , it works amazing with micrdosing , flavor is incredible and the clouds are close to combustion size. It seems it will hit all of what you are looking for out of a vape and if access to concentrate is limited go with the ShowerHead as it is the best for flowers but will also do concentrate if you ever come across it. You'r cloud chasing will stop with this vape as i don't see how they can get any bigger or better honestly.
