MouthPeace Filter: Anyone Tried One?

I was watching a video review by Senior Stoner Studios. The Stoner uses this weird silicone mouthpiece/filter with every hit he takes. Its called a MouthPeace, from Moose Labs, and incorporates activated charcoal. Stoner uses it mostly on his bongs/bubblers. He swears it reduces his coughing and lung/throat irritation. Anybody tried this?

From what I've read, you only need charcoal to filter out carcinogens if you are combusting. Since combusting weed produces denser vapor than vaping, I would assume that Stoner's coughing & lung/throat irritation is reduced due to the charcoal reducing the amount of vapor inhaled.
