Montana Residents - Under Seige?

On Friday, February 4, members of Montana House Human Services Committee, voted along party lines to pass House Bill 161, which would repeal the states existing medical cannabis law. All Republicans on the Committee voted yes, while all Democrats on the Committee voted no. The majoritys decision to do pass came despite an overwhelming outpouring of public testimony against the measure from local patients and advocates.

Can anyone closer to this situation shed some light on this for the rest of us?

yes, we are under seige but the support of the voters is huge. the lawmakers will be playing with fire if they eliminate one of the few industries in the state that is growing.

i don't see it passing. what i foresee are some regulations added to the law.
