Mighty/Crafty+ WPA fitment problems.

Awhile back I purchased a WPA for my 2020 crafty+, Its the one that fits on top of the vape, and replaces the cooling unit, purchased from POTV.
For the life of me, I cannot get this adapter on. Im not sure what it is, but it is just too tight. I can see and feel the plastic vape flex, and im afraid its going to crack my vape.
I really want to give it a go, has anyone else had this problem and is there any type of fix?

I have heard of more than one person breaking the plastic by using a wpa. the only thing I can think of is sanding it down till its not so tight. you could also grab a delta 3d studio wpa and I've never heard of broken plastic specifically with that wpa.
