Mason jar lids, and BPA.

Not sure if everyone is aware of this, but most mason jar lids are lined with BPA, a chemical known to have negative effects on the human body.
Probably not a big deal if you're just storing weed in them, but good to be aware of it.
I used to put all my avb for the day onto a mason jar lid, and then at the end of the night I would toss the avd into the glass jar.
Now since I plan to reuse my Avb, im thinking about using something else instead of the mason jar lid.
Anyones thoughts on this, or am I just being overly paranoid.

Peace. stay warm and safe.

Pete.

Are you speaking of any particular area? In the US, this hasn’t been the case in nearly a decade.

Yeah, I’m suspicious. As people use Mason jars primarily for canning FOODS!

There is a “red” seal around the underside inner ring of the lids, forgot the material, but it’s only contacting the jars top edge to make the airtight seal, with screw on ring added of course.
