Interesting, i will look out for your comparison and perhaps switch to Integras. I use and like Bovedas but a very few times i had the impression that they take away a bit of the smell...

Don t like CVaults personaly and don t understand what they offer over a mason jar but for the right price, perhaps the Freshkeepers are worth a try...

    Most important points IMO:

    - nearly indestructable
    - opaque
    - more airtight than mason jars

For sure much too expensive. I got the wholesaler prices of the freshkkeepers depending on ordered amounts (1 - more than 10pc, prices in €)

    small - 6.75-7.45
    medium - 7.85 - 8.65
    large - 9.80 - 10.80
    2 L - 18.50 - 20.45
    4 L - 21.50 - 23.75
    8 L - 25.50 - 28.15
    17 L - 43.85 - 48.35

These are good prices and make them much more appealing than the CVaults.... for you these are more Airtight then Jars? I remember some problems with being airtight with the Cvaults in the past, which made me turn away from the thoght of useing them.
Now much more interesting, perhaps i will try to get some for this prices..... s / m / l are good for which ca. amounts of green?

    Have a great day!

As I've said these are wholesale prices (w/o VAT). Recommanded retail prices are twice as much (incl. VAT). But nevertheless cheaper than the CVaults at least in Europe I'll try to get some for wholesale prices by a friend.
Profit on CVaults for retailers isn't so much with CVaults. So you will see more of the Freshkeepers in headshops in the future I guess.

My CVaults have a pretty good sealing at least better than regular mason jars for sure. But you can make your own gaskets out of a silicone slick with ease.

For longtime storage it makes sense to evacuate the CVaults in vacuum bags.

@Squiby álso recommands to put antioxydation bags into the jars for better preserving of terpenes and THC. I didn't try this up to now but will do so sometime.

5/10/20g with light pressure. It's also depending on the strain.

Currently I'm working exclusive with CVaults for a bit larger amounts. For small amounts I'm using JyArz.

I love the wide opening on the cvaults, bowl style. I do prefer my masons mostly because I can hear the pressure release so I know there is a vacuum versus the cvault which are more silent when opening. I do know the cvault is staying sealed based on the boveda's gel. I'm excited to see the freshkeepers for a cheaper alternative to cvault.

I know @dabpress.com (rosin equipment manufacturer) is working on some ultraviolet jars which will have RH gauge built in (still in development). These will keep buds safe from light and outside air allowing a check of the humidity levels of the contents w/o the need to open the container.

Sounds perfect, they start where the Jyarz end (btw, i love my Jyarz for my "in-use-and-rotation-now" Stash, on the go and on my coffeetable even if they are somewhat overkill or not needed luxury...)

Double Price a bit less appealing - if you would order some more hmu, i would like to get some :brow:

Perhaps people are misconstruing the chemical changes the plant undergoes when curing as a loss of terpenes to the Boveda?

"Monoterpenes showed a significantly greater loss than sesquiterpenes, but none of the major components completely disappeared in the drying process.[1]"

Very possible, especially if they aren't using oxy-absorbers. The oxygen trapped in the container is going to continue to change the smell. Also, a jar with only a few nugs in it is not gonna have the pungency of an ounce. There's a lot more to the story than the claim bovedas rob my nugs of smell and taste.

Well, i'm just curious about other experiences - still there are to much of different possible terps to rule it out in general, maybe some strains have absorbable terps and others don't...
A lab analysis of a used pack would be nice - anyone tried heating up an used pack in a sealed clean jar and smelling it afterwards?
I'll report in maybe 6month and compare it to 8year old cans of the same strain - got good experiences with professional canning eg in a butcher's shop (with meat labels :D ) no need for additives, just fill it tight and pressed, zero humidity loss...
So i see those packs mostly as gimmick for frequently opened jars - i used fresh leaves to humidify dry herbs till now...

I think gimmick is the wrong word, it definitely serves a purpose. Have you ever taken nugs that are sitting at 15% RH and boosted them to 65%?

No, i'll consume it at 50% ;) imo the chewy grinder also doesn't work to well with 62% Don't know a better word, for me leaves did that trick - but to be fair not everyone has access to fresh leaves (preferably of the same strain ) all year round and it can lead to mould if it sits unmoved for to long...
I'm just looking for max purity, but let's see how it goes, less work and remembering 4shure...
