    Hi,

in about two Weeks i am going on Vacation in the Netherlands, mainly den Haag and some excursions to Rotterdam and Amsterdam and i am SOOOO looking forward to it.

I am searching for tips what to do, related to our hobby but also family friendly stuff.

I love food, art & music, skateboards and ...

Perhaps somebody can give me a bit of info about concentrates in NL  and some connaisseur stuff. If somebody wants to meet up, just send a message.

    Have a great Day!

    :peace:

AFAIK concentrates are still illegal in the NL due to containing no plant matter. You can find good bubble/ice hash but I never had any luck outside of Amsterdam. The last time I've been there (end of april) Utopia had a lovely dry sift. My favorite coffeeshops are Utopia, Amnesia, Twede Kamer and Voyagers but keep in mind that I speak strictly about the products as I usually never consume inside to avoid inhaling half a ton of secondhand smoke per minute. If you like vaping through water Happy Feelings is worth a visit as they have several Verdampers available.
In Den Haag the two best places where to buy weed IME are Dizzy Duck and Cremers, the latter used to be one of my favorite coffeeshops but since they moved the smoking room in another location is only good for buying IMHO.
I would also recommend you a visit to Utrecht as the city is beautiful and is home of my favorite coffeeshop ever. It's called 't Grasje and it's tiny and almost ignored by tourists. They always have uncommon and unusual strains in their menu and most of the times for cheaper than other places in town. They also have a Verdamper. If you happen to like beers as well as vaping also stop at the Cafe Belgie on the main canal (Oudegracht). Great beers and great atmosphere. In Amsterdam don't miss Beer Temple, Arendsnest and In De Wildeman.
If you like photography take a look at the exhibitions at FOAM in Amsterdam, is one of my must go places everytime I visit as well as the Hortus Botanicus.

No concentrates in NL, but sometimes some overpriced bubble hash if u want to burn money...
My recommendation for Amsterdam would be the coffeeshop de tweede kamer for one of the best always in stock maroc selections in town, even the mid price ones (8,50) have great flavour and i'm a maroc pine flavour bitch ;) in comparison the dampkring has a nice selection too (screened hash from nepal which is very seldom), but somehow got overpriced after george clooney was there :D - tbh i've no idea of the weed quality i don't even look at it when i'm there...
If u search something special http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/ is a good scource for many cities
Also look for concerts at the paradiso if something fits in the timeline, there's almost always something good playing - there is also a really high density of nice clubs that most tourists never see they don't open before 10 or 12 pm eg direcly beside the anne frank huis
As far as den haag goes, nice beach on the east if the weather is good
But most important is to look out for bicycles in the netherlands, stoned tourists in the bike lane are one of the most annoying things for the people living there...

Abbey or Farmhouse ales would be awesome with good herb. We have a few good beers hear in the Bay Area, and it's my favorite way to roll.

Go here, the Bulldog in the Amsterdam Red Light district.
Get the seat in the front and watch the tourists gawk the working gals in the alley to the left. (yes, that is what is in the windows with the red lights). Once I watched a bus load of Japanese tourists file out of the alley with the men all laughing and grinning and the ladies not looking too happy.

If you like art get totally baked and visit the Vincent Van Gogh museum near the Vondelpark. Amsterdam used to claim the highest density of museums in the world.

I second the recommendation for Utrecht, which has a beautiful center, bars and restaurants built into the sides of the canal wall, lots of students.

Rotterdam got bombed a lot in WWII and seemed pretty modern to me the one day I spent there.

Be sure to greet the Dutch with the familiar greeting "Hoe gaat het? Ik ben een klootzaak."

Some recommendations for you. Been to The Hague/Rotterdam 3 years running and off again tomorrow :)

    The Hague

    Coffeeshops
(in no real order, DD is best in town though)

Dizzy Duck - Lab tested Cannabis. Smoking area often full
Cremers - Smoke downstairs now, the bar has changed to an American Craft bar, maybe just pickup now...
    Greenhouse - Pickup
    The Crow 2.0 - Pickup
Sympathy - try the hash deal, 3g for €15. Pickup
The Point - Dispensary vibes, small smoking area
    Galaxy - Pickup
De Mazzelaar - Nice to hang out in with your purchases from Dizzy and Sympathy. Had some nice Bubba Kush here also

    Restaurants

SET - some of the best Japanese food ever
Srikandi - If you haven't had Indonesian Rijsttafel then you must
Solbeach - All you can eat + cook yourself on mini BBQs, Gambas is amazing
Athene Palace - We went to the Pita Gyros Corner next door (same owners). Fantastic Greek kebab
Sumo - All you can eat Japanese
Harteveld Haringkar (Reinkenstraat) - Some of the best Haring we've had, every Friday and Saturday

    Bars

    Cafe De La Gare
The Fiddler - Microbrewery/Huge menu of anything else you could desire
    De Rootz
    De Pass
Cafe Emma - Small menu but lovely spot on a nice square

    Rotterdam

We only day trip here so not nearly as tested :)

    Coffeeshops
(Less selection but always high quality I've found in Rotterdam)

    Sky High

    't Trefpunt
    The Four Floors
    Nemo

    Restaurants

Markthal - Huge selection of Restaurants and Delis. Recommend Royal Fish, Heerlijk & Eerlijk, Bram Ladage (all over NL). Take your food to World of Drinks and eat outside with a nice Weissen!
De Pijp - Worth booking, we only just got in. Traditional Dutch "Bierhandel" going since 1898 and reopened/ moved after the bombing in 1940

    Fenix Food Factory

    Bars

    Boudewijn - Belgian Biercafe
Biergarten - German style beer garden
    Melief Bender

    Proeflokaal Reijngoud
Fenix Food Factory - Home of De Kaapse Brouwers (microbrewery)
Café Stalles - La Chouffe on tap

    Hope that helps!

EDIT: Forgot your question about concentrates. When you're in Amsterdam contact Ambrosia Extracts on instagram. Avoid any you see in shops, most likely not clean. Mr K and Co has Bubblehash Rosin (Strawberry Sour Diesel) I've heard and I think 1e hulp sometimes has Rosin. I believe the extractions with solvents are illegal but 'manual' things like Bubble/sift/rosin are ok.

In Amsterdam, I'd highly recommend La Tertulia, on the SW canals. They had a Verdamper but it was broken in May so I'd check with them. Very local vibe and inside space and tables outside to people-watch folks strolling the canal.
Also, Paradox out in western ring for multiple Volcanos, best space cakes if into that.
Boerejengens central or west for best hash deals on many "bloc hashes"--- AMS genetics plants that are harvested/processed in tradit hash countries.
If you wish to try rosin, no shop sells it BUT if you go to Cannabis College and join (5 Euros ??) to tour and bring your own buds, they can sometimes show you how to squish it :)

Rent a bike to ride in the cycling capital of the world !!!!!!

You're more than welcome, obsessed with this city. :D My new local shop this time is Freak Brothers, first time in there last night and highly recommended. We had the Kosher "Koosjer" Kush and Casey Jones, both extremely flavourful and strong. 13 and 11 € respectively.

You turn onto the road and can smell it already, always a good sign!

Ehi @Doktor Dub, I see you already got some pretty comprehensive recommendations so I'll just add a few things. Can't help with concentrates since I've never looked for them.

On this geocities-like website you can find some menus, not that frequently updated but just to give you an idea.
I'm absolutely in love with Amsterdam, I especially like the South and South-West parts of the city (De Pijp, Vondelpark).
For coffee shops, it really depends if you want to consume there or just buy and go elsewhere; always take into account the secondhand smoke problem @The Beagle pointed out. Also, if it's your first time you might want to go check out one of the famous ones like Amnesia, Barney's, Green House.
I personally prefer a quiet atmosphere combined with good quality, and my favorite coffee shop is Katsu, super friendly stoner staff and average prices. Others I would recommend are 1e Hulp and Boerejongens West (Boerejongens are owned by the guys of Amsterdam Genetics, so it might be worth looking into it).
One thing I haven't had the time to do (yet!) is take a short train trip to Haarlem, apparently not touristy at all and as such great atmosphere and prices.
This is a link to a map with all the coffee shop in Amsterdam, updated last January. I think if you save it on google maps with your account you can use it on the phone while you're there, did that last time and it was pretty convenient.

There's a lot of stuff to do in Amsterdam, but the old cliché of casual wandering along the canals holds true for me. The Van Gogh museum, the Rijksmuseum and the park around are of course a must see, and the Begijnhof is a cozy oasis of tranquility suspended in time. A trip for some street food at the Albert Cuyp market is also worth the effort.

I've only been to Rotterdam once, half a day and just for buying stuff. I found an AMAZING - albeit expensive - Super Silver Haze but can't for the life of me remember the name of the coffee shop. I went and got me some Jack Herer at Sensi seeds, and some other random stuff in another walk-in coffee shop.
The city itself is nothing special imho, very modern and very Dutch (no offense!). Compared to Amsterdam, buying and consuming cannabis felt a lot more like an economic transaction than a lifestyle, if it makes sense. Ime prices are a bit on the high side, too.

THE OLD CHURCH IN AMSTERDAM (Milan Kundera)

There are houses running along one side of the street, and behind the large ground-floor shop-front windows all the whores have little rooms and plushy pillowed armchairs in which they sit up close to the glass wearing bras and panties. They look like big bored cats.
On the other side of the street is a gigantic Gothic cathedral dating from the fourteenth century.
Between the whores’ world and God’s world, like a river dividing two empires, stretches an intense smell of urine.

Thank you all again for your great Help! I had a wonderful vacation with the family and can recommend den Haag quite a bit if Amsterdam is too crowded / touristy or not family friendly enough.

I have to give dizzy duck credit for being the best Coffeeshop i visited BY FAR. Great Menu, top quality, friendliest Budtender etc. some other were really good also but dizzy duck was on another level.

I hope nobody tried to introduce him/herself with that 'familiar greeting'. Literally translated: "How are doing? I'm an asshole." For everyone who would like to introduce themselves as an asshole: it's "klootzak", not "klootzaak". :D

About Dizzy Duck: best shop in The Hague. I always buy my favourite herbs there.
