Is it necessary to add a glass attachment (like from the SSV) to the Hakko soldering iron?

If you just touch the ceramic tip to the bowl, that will vaporize correct?

Which model Hakko does everyone get?

Why do you need anything else besides this? Is it not good?

If you touch the herb with the hakko, it WILL combust. However it will be much better tasting combustion.

To vape you'll have to hold the Hakko above the bowl, playing with the distance and pulling style. It will work, but not as well as if you had some sort of heating cover like on the SSV. I have the SSV and a Hakko 454, and I really only use my Hakko when I combust. I'll use it to vape sometimes, but that's only usually to vape the first part of a bowl.
