With all of the negative crap happening in the world today, I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where people can post some of the really good stuff that's happening in our world so that others can stop by now and again for a bit of a feel-good shot as well as allowing us to shed a few feel-good tears knowing full well that sometimes, really bad shit needs to happen for the good stuff to rise to the surface.

Area car dealers buy 20,000 new coats for needy kids

Area car dealers have banded together to purchase more than 20,000 new winter coats for needy children in Philadelphia and it surrounding suburbs.

The 150-member the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation will distribute the coats through local branches of the Y organization.

Since 2008, the group says it has purchased 56,000 coats for needy children.
