Favorite woods

I'm in the midst of buying a log and there are just too many woods. I'm thinking of black palm or zebrawood but I'd like to hear from others what wood you like most.

Whatever you buy, try and get kiln dried blanks. Partially air dried wood is much more problematic as far as splitting during the turning process, and mostly what you'll find available.
