dark moonrocks?

I hope this is the right spot for this question.. Today I got a super rare treat (for around here anyways) and got myself some "moonrocks". They do seem to be legit. Just that incomprehension to all the pics I see online this is way darker in color. Is that normal? Most of what I see is kinda bright with the extra golden kief.

Far as the smell test goes.....
I wanna say kinda a pungent blueberry-ish (Maybe faintly like one of those damn blueberry blunt wraps that so many people seem to love. But in no way is a turn off type smell.) I really can't believe I just said that.[I abhor blunts!] But the only way I could think to describe it.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but this is the first batch I've come across.

Let's say people use preferential lighting when they post online. An even lower move is the ol' switcharoo, similar to how a McDick's advert never looks like the actual burger.

Like holding up rosin to a light or adjusting picture quality.

I admit to having done it, but to replicate what I am seeing, as I fucking suck at taking pictures. Unless I am forgetful I make mention of it.
