could any glassblower modify a borosilicate stem?

so, i have two boro stems id like to join into a single long one. Could a normal glass blower do this?
or could any glassblower bend a straight boro stem so that it ends up like a linda j-hook?

Yep, Good Vibes Boro for example can do stuff like that, I sent him a bunch of pieces for salvage a while ago, and in building up a stock of more to do so again! Some were not even broken, but yes with the goal of joining or attaching pieces and at angles too
