not so terrible. the anticipation and the preparation for it were far worse than the actual event.
that said, it really sucked only being able to eat jello and clear broth for a full day.
anyway nothing to fear or avoid.

I was knocked out as well but my cousin, he was awake the entire time. It still surprises me he allows that doctor to live.

Did your cousin have a "virtual" or regular?

Well, if he thought that was fun he's going to love getting a prostate biopsy...:D

I am about due for another and what really sucks is the laxative I used to prepare for the procedure (Fleet Phospho-Soda) has been pulled from the market. Previously I had the choice of that or enemas. I am not too keen on entry into an exit.

LOL... There's a lot of us "old" codgers out there! Darts... Yea, YARD darts! :)

I don't have to ever have another prostate biopsy though. Got the cancer thing and had my prostate removed Jan/09. You gotta be TUFF to get old. :D

BTW, I had the DaVinci procedure. Star Trek cool stuff. If you ever have to have lap surgery, do it via that gizmo.

    cheers
