cleaning your vaporizer?

I own a vapor daddy witch is a knock off of the vapor brothers , ive had mine for almost a year and there is very fine powdered vaporized weed stuck all inside of my vaporizer , when i hit my friends vapor daddy it taste MUCH better ( his is almost brand new ) would you guys reccomend me taking my vaporizer apart to clean it? or is the stuff inside to delicate that i might mess it up ( the vapor daddy is basicly identicle to the vapor brothers accept the standard vapor daddy comes hands free

Hello, I have had success using the computer air can, on a completely cooled unit, cleaning the screened element and the inside of the box. Shaking out any fly away debris over a trash can. I was able to clean one of mine out completely to send it back to vapor brothers for repair.
