Studies are showing cannabis to be more effective and fewer side effects vs
current big-pharma dementia drugs-----similar to many other diseases.

THC and CBD both were effective treatments.

It certainly makes sense since the brain has a huge number of cannabinoid
receptors for endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids (cannabis).

The same positive results have also been shown in animal trials, with microdoses
reversing memory loss.

Is there a thread for all cannabis med studies OR more appropriate to do a thread for
each condition??

Very important area for research as statistics show 1 in 3 will have dementia to deal with

the cannabinoid receptors are responsible for modulating acetylcholine... that is a form of homeostasis via inhibiting the calcium which is voltage gated / ligand gated.
Bob Melamede explains it well in some of his talks or lectures .

lipid metabolism involves LOX/ COX ( lipoxygenase , cyclooxygenase ) .. that is the oxygenation of lipids . oxygen cavitation of the cellular membrane that shakes up and moves enzymes / epoxides ETC... into the intracellular mechanisms along with the lipid compound . this is the form of homeostasis responsible for lipid metabolism/ lipid signalling
