Broken Female Downstems

I have just inherited these two beauties from a friend who is moving away.

Both have the female part of the downstem broken (visible in pics)

Any ideas on fixing? I do not care too much about the look, as long as whatever I put on it is nontoxic. My ideas were either hot glue or Sugru. When I can save up the money, I'd like to get them sent to a glass blower for repairs.

I've had guys "ash" their bowl in my bong but never seen a discarded roach in a splashguard before

I would say it's only worth the repair if you have the lungpower to deal with the restriction of those double percs+splashguard. Those spiral percs always add so much drag, I personally wouldn't be able to handle it.

Wouldn't the grommet go in un-evenly, since the glass isn't broken in a perfect circle?

My main goal is to get the orange one operational, the green one has a broken perc.

I think my first plan of attack is to use hot glue and mold the broken part into an intact circle, then see if I can find a grommet for it for the orange one.

The green one may need more TLC than that, but I'll still give it a shot.
