I've been avoiding this thread. That's the only way I can avoid GAS and I've gone through too many grinders I ended up not using. But somehow here I am. A month wait for my silver, rose and hematite grinder.

    ^^^Agreed.

I've owned many of the top grinders and this one pleases me the most. Smooth operation, no screwing on or off, plenty strong magnets and it just stays cleaner, longer than other grinders.

Got the medium grind plate, upper and lower halves are sky blue, the center is sapphire. Definitely my best looking grinder.

I like mine. I find the medium plate best. In terms of function and aesthetics I rate this as the best grinder currently available.

    Wish my experience mirrored yours.

I'm almost at the point of disputing the charges to recover my $. I'v been in/out of the hospital, dealing with roof damage and daily bear visits, etc.. I do not need the added hassle of (in my case) crap communication and CS all over something as minor as a grinder.

Shouldn't be a big deal but it is; the one thing on my plate that drains energy and attention with zero return. I'm at about 50% of my normal, only 80% on a good day, baseline.

I'm sick of sending polite emails with zero or at best dodgy replies.

APR26 Place a hold on order with the understanding that it won't ship until after the colors are view able in the viewer thingie.

MAY24 send them new colours since viewer is still not available for the colours I want. I switched to a hematite body and bright plates. That way colour variations don't matter much.

JUN3 they ship original order with no heads up.

I finally got a single email reply after posting in this thread. That they responded to. Since then no response to repeated emails. I have the wrong one they sent still in a box. As someone that struggles with multiple disabilities, many not visible, I'v been trying to not jack shite up for the person handling my order. Perhaps they are having a rough patch?

The overall delay is no thang. I told them up front I didn't care if mine was dead last. But the constant getting jearked around? The constant crap communication? The constant low level energy drain? Those of you with mixed physical and mental disabilities will understand.

It might be a great product by in my experience its a ^#$& company.

I am a medical cannabis user and I use several strains each month. I have always kept grinders for each (approximately) type. Sativa, Sativa w/CBD, hybrid for the afternoon and indica (ideally with some indica CBD added) for night/sleep.

I have kept several grinders (Chromium Crusher) in different colors for different strains so I did not waste medicine while switching between strains.

How do you deal with 1 grinder for different strains without wasting medicine?

@sickmanfraud I have a bunch of "doob tube" looking containers I picked up from Aliexpress and I keep a note on my phone with the contents of each.

Yeah I grind a little at a time for this reason, have so much variety here. Got a few different little containers too, sometimes have used lids to things for small amounts I'll use soon. Otherwise still have my two SCS and an SLX, but I kid you not a couple weeks ago I only used the botton tray of the SLX to hold some leftover indica grounds from my BCG so I could grind sativa the next day...

I pregrind and store in small containers. You can use any number of purpose built things, I just use pimento jars. An itty bitty brush cleans out the kief from the grinder.

I gen unlimited free meds from a variety strains and am in a medical state. But old habits die hard and I conserve as much as possible.

We are talking about just the colors, right? I mean, the device itself is what you ordered and it arrived in good condition?

I keep my flower in glass jars with Boveda packs in them to store my strains separately. I grind what I need as I go, but dump whatever I don't use into a jar of ground material I call my Super Hybrid. I have a CannaVault that I store ground CBD flower.

I don't mind 'blending' strains together to create my own hybrids for use throughout the day. For example, this morning I ground up about .5g of Sour Diesel and put about .1g in a vapcap which I'm 'sipping' on now.

The other .4g got dumped into an opaque glass jar with a 62% Boveda pack in it. There's probably 3-4 grams in that and includes a bit of Sour Diesel, Super Sour Skunk, Mendo Purps, Chronic, Dakini Kush, and Cherry Cookies. There may be some Super Lemon Haze and Amnesia Haze in there too. But ultimately it ends up being a really potent, tasty brew. And I blend in a little or a lot of CBD to my cannabis flower depending on my needs throughout the day as well.

I also like that my kief is a blend of CBD and THC. I find that adding CBD to my THC has really improved the efficacy of my cannabis usage. By a lot. I started mixing CBD flower with my cannabis last November and I have felt better physically and mentally than I have in years. My anxiety and depression have improved dramatically and my tendinitis has also improved dramatically.

So, I don't think I'm wasting any medicine the way I grind and mix my strains. Not at all. I think it makes my meds better.

Damn, sounds like I need some more CBD in my mix! Just always feels so tedious lol Maybe I should try to find those crystals to add to everything...

Still loving every day that I get to use my BCG, the pleasure never gets old. But I’m still checking the @Grinders for Life website, hoping they’ll add a bold, rich ruby red to the lineup sooner than later! It seems like he is still super busy with his current options so I might just have to be patient for something that I don’t really need at all. *sigh* cue “hard knock life”! :D
Still feel like I’m using the very best grinder on planet Earth!

Just my 2c after owning this unit.

I've been using this grinder for Awhile now and I like it overall but I don't see how most of you think it's the best one out there. You talked like it walked on water and well I'm underwhelmed... Especially at those price .

The quality of the unit is fantastic and is a non issue. Beautiful colors and machining is flawless.

I have a flowerpot that requires a very/fine grind and the BCG did the job ok but not fine enough. Also I've had to clean my grinder plate more than I'd like as they've gummed up just like others. It's not even my daily driver yet and I don't think it will beat my stainless steel model from United Machining as the grind from that unit is unreal.

Just my opinion and happy grinding everyone

I just meant tedious because of the low THC requiring more bowls, and the extra grinding (especially mixing with regular flower, so that is what would probably make it more effective for me)...

and yeah I am finding that my fine plate is not super fine, but if I grind upside down like always I get a very nice consistent grind. Of course it depends on the buds, sometimes I just do it up right, sometimes I do a little upset on first, but if I want a nice fine consistent grind I will need to grind upside down even with BCG

Just to be clear, I'm mixing 20% CBD flower with Cannabis flower that is generally in the 25% range. So it's not really low THC. And the vapes I've been using lately easily hold .2g+ quite easily. I've just found that CBD works best when it's mixed with a little THC and THC works better when it's mixed with a little CBD.
