Brain tumour and Cannabis

So I'm here as a recreational user. I also have a friend (a non-user) who has Glioma (I think) which is slow growing and he is expressing interest in Cannabis oil.
So really my question is what kind of dose should he be taking and how should he be consuming?
Thanks in advance

Look up info regarding Rick Simpson Oil, you ingest the oil in food. Vaporizing cannabis couldn't hurt either,

@dojo - the standard RSO dosage is 1 gram of RSO per day for 90 days. from personal experience with gf, you need to work up to that dosage - she started with about .25g per day. normally done sublingual (under the tongue), but the RSO i made for her would stick to the teeth. i like to dissolve the RSO in a little bit of butter and put it on bread. the fat is useful to get the RSO past the breakdown in the liver.

vaping doesn't deliver enough dose - really need to flood the body systemically.

at least that's how i read the information available online.

oh, and i use a decarboxylator (Nova - check the FC thread) and Everclear (ethanol), rather than Naptha (petroleum derived) and a rice cooker. i do small batches (1/3 oz), Rick does a pound of herb at a time.

Thank you for the replies... Lots of interesting reading. I've been looking at RSO, that's great.
Does anyone have any advice on which plant strains are best? Something indica with high CBD? (CBD would be good to counter the effect of THC high no doubt?)

@Hippie Dickie did your GF use beforehand? How hard did the 0.25g hit her? Still possible to function (work)

@dojo - yes, we both are 50+ year users, and the .25g dose was impressively strong, we work at home so functioning is optional for us.

she did not make it up to 1g dose before a scheduled re-excision - her cancer was malignant melanoma on the back right shoulder blade - after the operation the pathology report was "in situ" - neither the dermatologist nor surgeon expected this to be in situ. She had about 30 days of doses and we used about 12 oz. of herb.

and Rick Simpson says you want THC, not CBD.
