Blasting BHO Directly on Oil Slick Pads

So I dove head 1st into the whole wax making world and saw that my local headshop is carrying to
hose oil slick pads so having an extra few bucks in my pocket I decided to cop 1. Now my main question is can I blast directly onto the oil slick pad in a pyrex dish rather than straight on the pyrex and saving myself the majority of the scraping process

I haven't used them myself but I think that's the purpose. No scraping.

NO, unless you are doing micro sprays (3-7 g) as the silicone of the pad will swell and eventually break down with a full can of butane IME.

no no and no. final purge only.

even then i will not use them.
why introduce a product that i know breaks down into a run?
a lot of effort goes into keeping the product clean.
why add crud to the mix?

So THAT is why I am getting all these weird little plasticky flakes in my BHO then isn't it... I've been using the same pad for a few months now.
