Automatic butter maker???

I literally just stumbled upon this and thought i would post it for all you butter makers to check out. i haven't made butter so i can comment on anything but maybe someone else can. here is the website:

Oh god the marketing kills it for me. Creepy dude in one and a unconvincing cheech/vince mashup in the other. Might be a good product but I'll never take it seriously after seeing those.

Yeah, I know...it's a bit much, but my curiosity got the better of me. Fingers crossed I will be making some tasty butter with ease, rather than cursing the day I ever heard the name....magical butter.

If this does turn out to be a good product, I hope they will perhaps reconsider their marketing approach so that more folks will take it seriously.

Awesome Tweek! Let me know how it goes ... I sometimes have to resort to edibles due to circumstances so this might be the ticket (might make some wicked cannabis/coconut oil--ie. cananut oil ). I'm not a big fan of medibles for the taste so coconut oil works well to put in capsules.

Thanks JCat! I really do hope that this turns out to be a good machine. I don't use edibles that often, but when I do, I always feel like they could have been stronger and better...so hopefully this takes away some of the guess work. Really want to try out the coconut oil as well.

Magical butter, if you're really serious about marketing this product I'd recommend switching up the videos. They're hilarious, but not in the kind of way that will move your product.

Personally I'd like to see more info. There's little about how the processes actually interact with each other (all I really know is that there's a monitor on the temperature, and it grinds as it heats). It could make the process easier, and for some patients I could see this being fairly handy if they don't want to bother with watching after their own butter cook... but like has been voiced here, these videos are more viral comedy than marketing IMO. I'm not trying to belittle anyone, just giving my perspective as a possible buyer.

That said, I am still curious about the actual machine. Is it basically an automatic regulating crock pot/food processor, or is there a bit more to the trick?

I have this strange feeling we will never hear from them again. I hope I am wrong.

Looks to me like it is automating the process, no other real magic. I will know more when mine shows up and report back.

I hear ya man. I am hoping this gadget will extract more of the goodies than I have been able to...will probably play around with the ratios a bit as well, to try and get it as concentrated as possible.
