so, we're just a timeskip until we have THC yogurt? why do so many people fear/loath euphoria?

Hippie Dickie; we're only a few years away from being able to culture THC (or other specific Cannabinoids for which which the gene sequence is specifically known). You might have to go through a coupe of fermentations, but it will happen.

Something WafflesVape and I have discussed in IRC is the consequences of having bio-pharma succeed. In other words, if you think the DEA and law enforcement agencies are making life hard for us recreational users, just wait until the patent assholes get their hands on it.
Already in Canada we've seen Health Canada moving in a highly undesirable direction. Their latest announced policy intentions will remove the right of medical users to grow their own or nominate a designated grower, and instead force them to buy from licensed commercial producers. If that producer turns out to be Pfizer (eg) with their patented Marijuanitol or whatever, imagine the pricing--and patent protection.
