Are ego twist batteries sealed? Oil leaking on new battery.

When I removed my clearo I found a pool of oil on top of my new ego twist battery. The battery was working fine, and I didn't clean it until the clearo (Kanger e smart bcc) I was using ran out of oil.

Are the tops of the ego twist totally sealed? Can oil leak into the battery from the top? I can't tell if those are joints around the battery terminal or if it's just one molded piece.

Ego batteries are sealed, what you described is common just be sure to take your tank / globe whatever off every few uses and wipe it clean (with ISO if necessary) as the contact can corrode or become very inefficient when stuff gets on it. FYI almost all E-cig batteries that operate with a push button rather than auto on when you draw are sealed to prevent leakage and destroying batteries.
