this is the first year I ever have voted via absentee ballot.
I was shocked to learn that folks have already submitted their absentee ballots for weeks---not sure how early they were sent out.
IMO, that is shocking as a lot can happen between the time of voting very very early and the official date.
I had assumed there would be a corridor, like absentee ballots only accepted as early as one week before the election.
Anyone else bothered by this??
