Last year the MMJ initiative didn't go over well in NC, but the country has changed since then. I just hope the inclusion of recreational use wont cause any extra backlash and stop the entire initiative.
Thanks to gerrymandering, the Republicans now have a stranglehold on NC politics, and the state is likely to be among the last to approve medical mj. NC is no longer a progressive state.
