I'm kinda new to vaping concentrates electronically, but I have a 510-threaded Aspire which was recommended to me as a decent, somewhat adjustable beginner battery.
I have put about a dozen cartridges on this battery and they all have worked fine, it never crossed my mind that something would go wrong there. But I screwed in a new cart, the threads matched just fine, no resistance at all- and when I went to take a rip the button blinked red & blue (bad sign) instead of the steady blue.
Do I have the wrong battery for a cart that just happens to screw into a 510 battery but wouldn't function? Did I get a bad cartridge? I'm lost here.
I've tried to display the situation with my limited camera skills. I can take pics. Normally, the button would glow steady blue for 5 seconds and then blink out. But instead this happens:

Upon investigating, it looks like this company uses a 510 thread as well, but I might be forced to use their proprietary vape to make the cartridge functional... Not cool.
