    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Hello friends, I've been away from the vape scene for a while. When I left, the Pax was the king of portables. Is this still the case? I'm going to spend a few hours rummaging through the forums now, but I was hoping to get a quick consensus.

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

I find that the DV has an easier draw than the Inh. However, once the DV gets dirty/gunked up (after a few bowls) the draw is no where near as effortless, and the Inh would win (the draw on the Inh has never gotten more restricted, regardless of how many sessions I go through).

Jur, perhaps we are using different acrylic grinders. Mine have always been thrown in for "free" or FTP deals. They have much more space between the teeth than metal ones, and therefore produce a coarser grind. I am not "kidding" myself. And I would not recommend a coffee grinder because...

I wouldn't say extremely fine grind; for example, I would not use a coffee grinder as I would with an MFLB. I say any metal grinder is good/fine enough. Rule of thumb for me is Metal grinders for vapes Acrylic grinders (for a coarser, nuggier grind) for joints and pieces.

Have you tried removing the black "push back" ring? I did and found it easier to hit. But I understand what you mean, I didn't have trouble with my MFLB but there were just better options. The best 1 hitters would be something like.. a TV or concentrate vape, correct? The Inh is very...

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

After I turned off the Inh, I'd keep drawing for maybe 2-3 more hits. Once I no longer get vapor, I feel comfortable letting the Inh cool the rest of the way itself. I don't feel like I'm wasting herb, but it's hard to tell at that level anyways.

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

Hey guys, just s small update. I'm going to be mailing back my defective Inh, and I'm probably going to order a Pax once I get back from my cruise. This is an awesome vape, but I think the Pax may better suit my needs.

The G Pen by Grenco Science

The G-Pen is the bottom of the concentrate vaporizer line, I think most people understand that. I think the issue that people have with KC is that his posts come across as unhelpful. Personally, I "unwatch" any threads that I have no interest in, or have no positive feedback to contribute...

The G Pen by Grenco Science

    I could be wrong, but I've been told the G-pen battery is a typical/generic (510 I think) e-cig battery.

Makin' my defective Inhalater look really second-rate, SliM. Haha looks like I'll be ordering one as soon as I get back from the Bahamas.

Yes, I've vaped half a bowl since. It also exhibits this behavior while on the charger. I'll get a quick video. Currently uploading.

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

I started doing that, and found out that it wasn't the auto-shutoff that was causing the problem.. Attempting to turn on my Inh right after turning it off results in a faint status light blinking, rapidly. The device will not heat up. I have to switch it on and off a few times to get a...

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

When my device goes into auto-shutoff, I turn my dial to "off" and then back on, but the status light blinks a VERY soft green instead of the normal bright blinking. It will not start heating up for some time. Does anyone elses device exhibit this behavior?

It looks like the wicks sit above the screen, as there is no residue under the screen in his picture.

 Well for what it's worth, I do "pack" my bowls a bit. I use a small pick to gently compact the bowl in the DV, and I use a pen cap to gently push the herb into the polymide container for the Inh. So that may factor in, also. Also, IMO, a completely clean DV is very hard to beat...

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

I've only been able to have 2 sessions with my Inh, but I'm loving it too. Personally, I found the DV to have an easier draw path. But the resistance on the DV is extremely dependent on how clean the screens are. I feel that, after a few (7 or 8 maybe) bowls, the middle and upper screens must...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Sounds like you need assistants and a plethora of external mics  Looking forward to your review. Now that my Inhalater has arrived, I'm debating whether or not it's prudent to even consider a Pax. It has to be THAT much better for me to jump the gun, I think.

So I found a glue gun and implemented a quick ghetto fix. Just went through 2 bowls, 1 in the DV and 1 in the Inh. I'm very pleased with the Inh so far! The first thing I notice is how much "cleaner" the vapor tastes from the Inh, but then again my DV isn't brand spanking new.

Yea, but really it's glue. And he promised to uphold the warranty/exchange if the glue situation doesn't work, I even told him I'd probably send it right back if the glue doesn't work. Contingencies  Here's an image, I hope no one else has this issue.
