Werd, I'll try that PS tomorrow. I know for a fact that the one I bought is not working since Alan said it would be tough to hold due to the heat after a certain amount of time (type of wood and core) - it was always fine.

damn, my unit is beautiful! unfortunately I think the power supply I bought is busted. Didn't buy it through Alan - tried to get rid of some gift card money and save some cash through amazon. I'm currently putting out less than MFLB levels. I was looking forward to puffing some big vape hits!

haven't received my HI yet... but put me back on the list, if you would, Alan. maybe the next iteration can be powered via mini/micro USB? who knows! so many things can happen a year from now!

sometimes i feel like i'm bothering alan, even though i know i'm not, but i feel like i'll ask you guys this question with a good sense of taste. can you taste the steel at ALL with the SS core? or is the only taste difference the fact that the SS retains more heat, thus making the ABV darker...

i could be wrong, but i think the 4 piece has a regular bottom with an edge, the 3 piece has a curved bottom. and to state the obvious, the kief catcher. it might come with a pollen press depending on what you order.
