I noticed an uptick in my tolerance so I was going to quit.......didn't, just cut back a lot. Only been a few days though, but feel pretty good and have been getting "higher" than normal, it's like my body is trying to make the few times I can vape count
Doing the same. I was an all day vaper (flowers and concentrates) and it made me super unproductive. Trying only night time vaping, dabbing a few times a week, and my experience with cannabis has improved greatly.

But I like it!
@murf2010 high THC indicas and sativas, with a bunch of high CBD mixed in. Supplies come from www.medreleaf.ca. You can poke through the strain names for more info. Some of them are clones of regular strains (I think), in that they have one called Stellio that has (jack herrer) written below in smaller font.

I used to just get one strain back in the blackmarket days. I never knew what it was.p getting. Towards the end of the month (I would buy my cannabis once a month) I found I developed a tolerance for that particular strain. I would usually get a new strain the next month and find that I would get more medicated the first week or two. Sometimes I would end up with the same strain I had the previous month, then I would be disappointed.

I was like a kid in a candy store the first time I went to a medical dispensary. I like to go to dispensaries that have a large selection. I've been going to a medical cannabis farmers market. The laws will be changing July 1. No more cannabis farmers markets. Just the state run stores. It's screwed up big time for the patients. The state wants the taxes, as much as they can possibley get. I'm pissed off about it.

If you're vaping all day long, maybe you are "addicted" (I'm using quotes because I'm more referring to a really strong habit more than a real addiction issue) to the action of vaporizing as much as the herb. I know for tobacco I miss the habit more than the plant itself. So what about trying other plants in order to cut down on your consumption? The ethnobotanical thread has lots of examples of plants for anxiety or even pain.

You mention pain and aches, I don't know your medical situation, but taking pain meds for a short time would also be a solution to lower your needs? If your body handles them well of course.

Am i a Cannabis addict? You god damn bet i am. Blazing every day daily for over a decade.

Now that might sound a bit much but i have friends who started blazing daily back around 1992 or 1993. You know, going to the store to buy a No Limit Records CD and driving home with a spliff kind of thing.

Anyway I digress

Some of these friends who have been daily tokers for SEVERAL decades refuse to vape... I have a friend who will ONLY hit bowls because he can pack them fairly small and if he smokes anything bigger (j's, bongs, etc) it screws up his tolerance and bowls arent as effective anymore.

I have been trying to get him to switch to vape for years but he aint doin it!

What I do is switch to the solo or vapman by itself but i need to find the bottom half of my vapman first.

@murf2010 IMO wake-n-bakes are a major contributor to high tolerance issues.. Vaping only during the evenings on weekdays and as much as I want on the weekends works very well to keep tolerance in check for me while still vaping daily.. It actually makes my tolerance drop pretty rapidly, and as a result I'll end up vaping considerably less on the weekends too.. Mental clarity that comes along w/ it is nice too.. and your herb will start lasting much longer.

Alternatively though, if you wanted to take the opposite approach, you can just get yourself an S3 and call it a day  My tolerance was already high before getting my S3, and that thing cut right through it, as if I had just come off of a month long T-break or something  but I hadn't

:peace:

Id say 48h hours, then catch up on the micro dosing thread. You don't have to cut back to the low use levels of some users in the thread, but I find the general idea to be, have a break then come back and try not to exceed 75% of what you were using before... Then after a while another couple day break and then try and cut it down again.
I did a 3 day break (went on vacation) and came back to a brand new vapman, and only used the vapman exclusively. If I ever tried the LSV during that time I would get ruined because the vapman kept my tolerance so low.

So yeah, take a few days off then just come back to micro dosing and avoid over indulging and it's really easy to keep ur T down
