If I was VXL, I would be embarrassed to put my name on craftsmanshit like that. Sure, it may function, but this is sold as a normal, regular item. If this were sold with an "Oops! We have some items that don't meet our quality expectations, but still work so here it is for half off (with the name sandblasted off)" sale it would be fine. But to ship a piece to a paying customer that you would not put on display at a show is just piss-poor quality control.Can any HT/glass experts tell me if the off center part of my Hydrabomb is something to be concerned about? Haven't been able to use it yet because I'm out of herb (epic fail, I know), airflow seems fine when I do a plain inhale, albeit makes a small stuttering noise. Maybe this is just one of the imperfections due to being hand made?
I bought my Cloud EVO because the reputation for quality and support was excellent. Sure, it was expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have been thrilled with it and tell everybody it's worth the extra money. Things like this can kill a company.

It may function but wtf, with all their recent HT problems, wouldn't you think they'd give each and every one a QC double check before being shipped?? A water test and a visual double check are sorely needed for every HT.
Maybe that's a prototype of their new Italian HT, The Leaning Tower of VXL ????

Well, shit. I feel like I should contact support about this but I just hate sounding like a dick--I used to work in customer service so I sympathize with anyone in such a position.

I don't think anyone will think you are whining. My HydraHoneycomb has a crooked vapor path but it's not nearly that bad; just enough to be noticeable. I would get one that bad exchanged as well.

(In seriousness, I feel that is a bit much for an aesthetic defect and I think opening a ticket/contacting them was the right call! Agree though it's likely not fucking it up too much functionally, but I'd be annoyed if I got that)

Is it safe to use my vapexhale nail after it got cracked slightly? I'm an idiot... I ran it on max temp for a couple of minutes and decided to put it under water right after that which in turn made it crack slightly on the inner layer of the glass towards the bottom.

Alright, so CS got back to me with fantastic news: they'll be more than happy to allow me to exchange my flawed HT for a new one. Hydrabombs are out of stock right now, but they will send me a note first thing when they are restocked in the next 1-2 weeks and I can send the old one back.
Now, hopefully they'll send me a shipping label so I don't have to pay out of pocket to ship glass (never done that before, yikes). I'm gonna go ahead and use this flawed HT and just clean it extra well when they want it back.

Well my good friend you picked hands down one of my favorite strains. When I first "STUCK" some Gorilla Glue in the EVO
It left me in a literal stupor! The wife passed out! I love Gorilla Glue it's ridiculously potent , but in the EVO it's a stoners delight! I think i need to make some calls to speed up the shipping process!!
