You would be best to call and ask.
I ordered 2 7" bags and one had a zipper pocket and one had a removable smell proof pouch that velcroed to the inside.
I don't know if it's an option or new or old stock.
The smell proof pouches are pretty sweet, it's like getting a free bag with your bag!
Also check out their RYOT line, I think they all come with the extra pouch.
They sell pouches from 4'"s large to book bags.

Thanks. Sounds good! Gotta ask them - also if shipping to the EU is possible. The 7" is a well fitting size for the FW? Will additional stuff like the holder fit in it too?

Thanks!!

Another Crafty cooling unit hack....cools just as well as a water piece. :science: It easily attaches to the mouthpiece by push fit with the silicone about a mm above the glass.

The whole ordeal took about a week from order to pickup. There was a lot going on and I may have ordered one before they were restocked. I also think it was during a busy holiday weekend and I missed it the first day.

I'm going to have to order one of these or see if they've got one at a local brick and mortar shop. I saw people posting about this in the GH thread and thought it looked nifty there and was thinking "I wish I had a vape that could do that." Glad to know that I already do :)

Ordered yesterday. I couldnt resist. The suspense is emense! Anyone please enlighten me on their shipping wait time experiences? I checked shopify and it only says confirmed.

He ships out on Fridays from what I can tell. On the product page for the unit it says when he'll ship. Probably only ships once a week.

From the site: Estimated ship date for orders received on or after Jan. 25 is Friday, Jan. 29.

This was true in my case. I ordered on the 19th (Tues) and received it the 25th.

Hope that helps. I got two mouthpieces on the way as well. Be patient, worth the wait for sure.

@Mr. Me2 How do I go about asking for that discount. They have the cooling unit listed at 17.85. How much could I expect to save?

Thanks everyone that sounds plenty fast enough. I ordered 2 when I saw them in stock on Monday. Im very excited about this one. I own the mflb, evo, hebalizer, and 2 mightys. I use the mighty to slip hits at work but my consumption has skyrocketed since leaving the mflb because of how long it takes to get my head right. Hope this helps with that but even if it dont it still looks awesome.

@freshly baked

I've only been using it for 1-2 weeks and i get really way too high lol :haw: I'll always tell myself one more capsule because I don't feel it initially.. Forgetting the vape buzz can be delayed or possibly dependant on strain :hmm: and then once it all hits :ko: oops

I've been hoping to use this to slip hits at work also, but its so damn powerful and takes a few minutes so I'm still getting the hang of it.

Mostly attempting dense vape sips on temps 3 and 4 with fresh capsules if I am trying to slip hits tho.

I wish there was an abv chart to tell on doneness and I'm going to look into some sort of casing that hugs the vaporizer.. I really don't want anything happening to this baby.

P.S.
Does anyone know the BeesWax Recipe? The Manual/PDF here stated it can be found on the main website @ www.firewoodvapes.com  I'm sure I can also just google multiple beeswax recipes as well, cheers guys :science:

Regarding a case, you may want to pm @Ratchett to see if he can design a case for the fw3. I'll bet he can come up with something great!

Im waiting on mine to ship. Read through most the thread. Getting excited. Love my lily but hate using it around other people... The torch on glass just resembles someone smoking crack/meth too much. Would love it if this could delivery similar hits and be able to be finished with a session in 2-3 minutes. Already love the look. Im a fan of all things wood so it has that going for it... Also one of the coolest vape names IMO as well. Now it just needs to perform!!

I have nothing more/better to add... Someone please post a new picture or 2 to hold us "waiters" over :)

How bout taking a picture while exhaling visible vapor and hopping on one leg. This would explain how well the vape works. If you succeed.... You're not high enough...

Noooo! Mine finally broke. I'm noticing a common theme in how the wood breaks along the grain. I was just expecting the battery lid to fail. The bottom of mine came completely off, taking some of the main body with it. The bottom plate still technically held together: it took an entire ring of wood from the main body with it.

After mine broke i reached out to marc and he recommended ca glue, particularly ca wood glue to glue it back together. So basically any type of superglue.

I have since glued it all back together and it is working great. I used locktight since it is what we had around.

In fact, i don't know if anyone recalls, but i mentioned how loud the buzzing was in mine. I mean the vibration buzz for temp settings etc. Well, since i smashed it up and repaired it, the buzzing is much softer so it's turned out well. Of course, i do not recommend this as the best way to tweak your buzz...

I have photos of the internals i took before i fixed it which i will post when i have time. Plus the fixed unit too. The glue seam is almost invisible and i haven't even waxed it yet.

I still have yet to take pictures to see if it's covered under warranty; it was difficult and scary putting it all back together. There was a lot of tension in the springs. Taking it apart again does't sound fun to me.

Also, in that regard, I really don't want to part with it for any amount of time right now, so I am considering my options. Since I work at a production shop, I can get some scrap metal or plastic to easily make a brace.
Are you concerned about the toxicity of the glues you used?

Thanks for the heads up! Grabbed a couple extra mouthpieces just in case.

Vapes look to be sold out now and only 4 more spare mouthpieces left.

Yesterday my Firewood 3 upped it's game all on it's own.:tup:

After taking it off charge I found the haptic feedback had slowed down quite a bit and response to pushing the button sluggish and immediately sunk into the ol' "OH FUCKIN' Shit No" mode, where before setting the temp to 4 it beeped quickly; 1234 in a split second now it's more like; one and a two and a three and a four(hope that makes sense)...But now the Temp has stepped itself up considerably too to where I can easily pull big hits on temp setting 1 where before I hardly got any vapor on anything but settings 3 and 4. Also now there is no need for a Primer hit, I can just turn it on set the temp and draw slowly and the Clouds just keep on coming 'til the capsule's spent.

Now this thing is Really Fucking Awesome and I am pulling hits that rival the likes of my Daisy or EV2 on temps 2-3 with near Black AVB on 4. I'm hopin' and prayin' that it keeps working like this and the change isn't a portend of bad things to come like a runaway heater or the like 'cause the way it's working now I don't really see any other electric powered portable even getting close to this performance or replacing it anytime soon.

...:peace:... :D

So happy for you @RUDE BOY I bumped mine up I think 4-5 notches .. Would you happen to know how much you bumped the initial temp ?

I think I'm going to experiment and bump it up a few more .. Lately It's been a workout trying to draw lately. :ugh:

@RUDE BOY thanks for the tip can't wait to try this

Your welcome, though I don't know how it could help anyone ... I don't have any Idea of what happened to make the change other then this time I had depleted the batteries totally before putting it on charge where-as before this I charged when there was still at least one beep indicating battery life on start-up.

I really have no idea how to replicate the change in performance if it defaults back to how it was, wish I did.
