Ah that's a shame @gaseous_clay especially after they told you they were improving it and switching to a matrix perc...

And now they're just going to switch to the more complicated recycler? Don't have much confidence in their ability with that, I'd rather buy it from SSS anyway.

But yeah @Bongologist lets get em everything, SSS is quick and reliable so would be great for them to have a lot of tubes. Using their recycler prototype, and just removing the recycler and putting the MP on the can would be great as I said, looks like a better circ perc than FC MP, but maybe they can add the overflow chamber too? Though I guess not so necessary...

Also agreed something like the SSG Hydraline would be great, a hydratube with an ice pinch! And I would like to see a matrix perc tube like Steven teased us with as well. So many to try!

I should get into the custom glass thread to see what designs come out. Also curious what Kathy could/would do... Thanks for taking the lead on this important project dude!

Maybe leaking was the wrong choice of words. I had read that the upper chamber was allowing the water to run down to the catch chamber and not keeping enough water around the perc (if I understood correctly) not leaking out of the piece entirely.

@Shit Snacks ill draw that up without the recycler and with the catch, I like that idea. I would rather not do these in Sketchup but now I'm thinking it might be worth it. I can do simple drawings (and I'm enjoying it) but if anyone can draw these better by all means please do.

nope, no leak, it operates flawlessly. there are a couple of minor imperfections in the design, but it is very thick, heavy guage glass, and seems very sturdy & durable. for $35, I'll buy another one of it ever broke.

Incredibly excited about the hydratube developments, if there's a link for the recycler already up I would love it. Waiting on an FC UFO from Steven, almost 2 weeks in. But the tracking seems to be frozen at "Departed USPS facility" in San Francisco for several days now. I'm in LA. Should I just throw away the tracking? Is it irrelevant?

So stoked for anyone willing to provide one.

One criticism I have?

Why do glass companies incorporate mouthpieces with a device?

18mm female would reduce the shipping package.
My FC UFO is one that makes sense.
I would love a UFO style with a MALE 18mm faced down to use a JHOOK for a mouthpiece.

SUNSHINE STORE MAKES JHOOKS.

I never understood the logic?

Is my FC mouthpiece (hydrotube) a modified version?

Mine doesn't leak?

I'd like to see a HT or bubbler with just an 18 mm male mouthpiece stub and you could order a custom 18 mm female glass mouthpiece from @Oregonglassblower in whatever length, size, mouthpiece style you prefer.

Have you looked into the FC Mod can atax? It's got a male joint pointing up, could work with an upside down j hook. It's great with a hydratube on top. I do like all one piece bubs too though

The hydratree 2.0 and hydracirc 2.0 are just like you describe. I think it would be awesome, you could stack different percs together!!!

Edit: oops the 2.0 have 18mm male not female on the top.

Hey everyone, just wanted to review my most recent purchase from steven http://www.dhgate.com/product/new-high-quality-22-5cm-tall-glass-barrel/269406094.html
It arrived in 5 days which is extremely fast for dhgate standards, sorry everyone who's having problems with the ftk. The welds on it were not the best but no cracks were detected only some bubbles. The function was pretty unbelievable due to the low drag and high filtration. But it almost was too much filtration for me at almost the level of between a honeycomb and a fritted disk perc but none of the drag. So I felt like when I dabbed out of it I had to take larger dabs than normal and therefore it didn't seem as effecient to me but u could see this as being good for somone who likes larger dabs. I did enjoy it for vaping flowers because it cooled the vapor a lot and I was able to get large hits very easily although the flavor was definately no comparable to lower diffusion/ filtered pieces such the fc-710. I would compare it to ccg pyrology knockoff recycler and say that I do like it better an there is even more filtration. But it is a fun recycler to use so I would give it a 9/10 rating

Not bad, very solid and weighty, little bit chuggy, but overall well made and good for the price.

Was awful- pillars weren't straight, neither were the slits, and very very chuggy, avoid.

I ordered them at different times, very good packaging and about 8 days to the UK both times.

Got my FC-710 from Steven. 12 days for shipping. Usual bomb-proof packaging. Quality is consistent with other China pieces, ie very good. Stem is slightly mis-aligned in can, but it's minor. Pull takes a bit of effort, makes sense, seeing how deep the water is, but it makes for a sort of rough chugging hit. That and the extra effort required are a turn off. Taste is excellent, as described. The base is fairly thick, but the neck feels thin and fragile.

I really don't respond to tracking post, however this proves my point and makes be laugh so hard!

It's a clash of culture!

The thing to do is have many pieces and just wait until it arrives!

My advice is to ignore tracking information from the East!

We could send copies of Ethics - Benedictus de Spinoza to the factories over there?

My FTK seems to have just actually gotten mailed last night as well, with the tracking just updating. Looks like they sent out a batch.

I have a lot of experience importing from China and what I've found is 50% of the time the shipping info is total bullshit, cultural or not it is frustrating. Still better than the old day trying to order from bit freak

I saw same exact rig at my local head shop going for $135 (came with a small dab mat & dab tool). I found this on DHgate for just under $40. It was the fastest delivery I've ever recieved from China and functions well. The site has a video you can check out to see it in action. With this new acquisition my grand total of rigs is now 11.
