If you order the D020-D on dhgate message them/mention in your order that you want a 14mm reducer and they should include one free of charge with the bubbler.

I posted 2 different links a page back.
One is directly from 7th Floor Accessories.

The other is for the same thing, but directly from the guys that blow the glass for 7th Floor...Higher Elevations.

But like Jimmy said, they will throw in a reducer for free when ordering your D020.

I really like what Higher Elevations is doing though, they really do have some great options.. I can barely roam the site...makes me want to order 1 of everything.

Hashtag46&2,
Do you guys usually get vapor as thick as this?
I usually hit my buddha on a lower temp, slowly, and take lots of hits.. never get vapor this thick though ..any tips on hitting it ?

Yes, if not thicker. How much are you packing into the wand? More herb=denser hits but higher chance of combustion/overheating. You can also check the position of the white heating element in accourdance to the glass heater cover. I find it works best with the top of the element about halfway up the cover(as it is when the unit is new). You can also just turn up the heat. Higher temp hits are going to be visually thicker and more cloudy but less tastey and smooth

A lot of that is down to lighting I think. I found using a lamp helped me when I first started vaping. I wasn't always sure was doing it right. There's only 3 real variables to consider with DBV, speed of drawer, heater temp, and material to be vaped. Only tip I can give is just keep at it. After watching loads of videos and reading through what seems like 1000's of posts, there's nothing as good as practise and seeing what works best for you.

I too get very thick vapor...

I echo @JimmyCricket 's suggestions.

I would also add.

1)Screen Maintenance, keep your screen as clean as possible.

2) I prefer a coarse grind, with little to no tamping.
-After loading your wand, check your draw resistance, by pulling through the whip, there should be no- to very little resistance.

3)Your first two draws, the vapor is extremely flavorful, but thinner...
Purse your lips and draw as if you're pulling on a straw like a thick milkshake.
But only pull air in as if you are breathing normally, and increase your draw speed towards the end.

4) Listen to your Heater Cover.
-There will be a whistling sound coming from the intake hole in the heater cover,if draw resistance is open enough...correlate this with your draw speed.

5) those first two hits are usually considered "primer hits"..At this point I stir to break up material a bit more, and from here.. I start my draws slowly to get it going, then I pretty much pull as if I'm hitting a bong or joint..just rip....

Hopefully this helps.

Thank you for the help guys... It's amazing how a seemingly clean screen can cause so much drag! I replaced the screen and scraped all the delicious hash off of it and loaded it between some flower with my new screen... going to soak it in iso for later use. Mmm :)

I have a Bong with 2 percs (similar to this http://www.wearebaked.com/wp-conten...f-Elite-Beaker-Base-6-arm-Percolator-Bong.jpg) but I feel like there's too much drag to get the best hits... I was thinking the D020-D bubbler (http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/d020-d-bubbler-glass-water-percolator-smoking/187214099.html) would be a better choice as it has nice percolation, but minimal drag. What are your guys' opinions? Is the drag no big deal, should I just adjust my draw speed?

Also, I get pretty dense and visible vapor at 2:00-3:00 but often turn my weed black... I don't taste anything I think is combustion and don't smell it either, is black weed just an indication I've used most of the THC?

Excuse my bad formatting, I am new to the forum and to my Buddha.. :)

try slower draws at a lower temp. The d020-D is a very good match with the DBV

I love the d020-D with the Da Buddha. Though I seem to always find myself going back to a regular mouthpiece. The bubbler gives me a different high than hitting straight from the whip+mouthpiece, neither is better, but... different.

And I agree, lower the temp and go for slower draws. I try not to bring mine up past the 1:30 position (off is around the 8:00 position and full-on is 6:00 exactly). I've managed to combust once accidentally because my screen was clogged and the draw was tight, but I kept going. I felt it right away when I combusted the material. I could smell and taste it even as I held in my breath to find my Smoke Buddy so that I didn't stink up my entire house. You'll know if you've hit combustion, especially if you haven't smoked for a long time.

Past week or so I have been drawing straight from the wand with my Da Buddha and it works great! :science:

I never really liked the whip as I couldn't sense temperature and found it very cumbersome so I am really happy I can use this thing again, after about 5 years of it lying in a draw. Would recommend anyone try it :D.

Have you tried the lsv wand? :brow:

Let's have a fun question: All your glass pieces are stolen, what piece do you buy to hit your Buddha with first?

I'm trying to pick up a couple dbv parts for a friend and I'm a little surprised to see that two of the three vendors that I've used (supporting retailers for this site) don't seem to carry the buddha, and the one that does doesn't have the part I need in stock. I thought that this was a popular vape; is there a reason that it's relatively hard to find it and/or replacement parts? (I mean *relatively* hard. I only buy from online sources that are trusted on this forum.) It's probably just a coincidence, and I know that not all retailers carry all vapes, but I'm curious.

I'm guessing it's because it's quite old and not the only option anymore, But I also think sales on this item aren't gonna be as frequent like a portable(basically a lifetime warranty).
Also 7th floor is smaller than your average big name, they put a lot of work in for their size. So all that combined with limited blown stock. Equals. Only specific vendors carrying 7th floor products(and accessories) since its beginnings...
Also before fc I've never heard of 7th floor or seen products and I live in long beach California which is basically Boulder co lol. So out of 100's of headshops, people I've met I never encountered anything at all.

Directly from 7th Floor...

http://dabuddhavaporizer.com/index.php/dabuddhavaporizer/dbv-accessories.html

Or go straight to the guys that create 7th Floor's Glass/Accessories

https://higherelevations.net

Tons of custom stuff on Ebay as well, just be sure to use PayPal and only buy from reputable vendors.

Lol...
This is funny, as living here in Colorado...7th Floor is the only Vape manufacturers I knew of until I started lurking FC (aside from the Volcano)

Accessories hard to come by in UK. Haven't been able to find a UK stockist for the aromatop. Few stock wands,hc covers, but mouthpieces are another hard to find. I think we should all badger Herb-nerd and 7th floor to get together and get a european ebay presence up. No need to pay a $40 shipping fee and import duties when all you need is a heating element or dimmer. There must be thousands of european 7th floor customers who aren't fortunate enough to know him on here

Hey new to FC but had my da buddha for 2 years next month. Where is the serial number on this unit? On the 7th foor's website they offer a discount if you register your vape. Thank you!

The serial number comes on a piece of paper inside of the hemp bag. I registered mine soon after I received it, but never got an email or anything to confirm it. Or the discount.

Thanks for sharing this!!!

I could've swore I looked at the Manual for the serial number, looked everywhere on the unit, including all the damn numbers on the power cord.

I payed full retail for mine (210$)as I bought from a local shop in which is an Authorized Dealer...love supporting my small local businesses .

But factoring in the fact my second DBV was free, and my used herbalAire for 10$...

I think I came out ahead, all about that karma .

However, I did just get duped in downtown Denver.:bang::bang::bang:

I was up there to watch Doug Benson Stand up with his "Super High Me" tour.

He is a fuckin riot in person.
Ended up getting approached by a gentleman on a Smartboard (basically a Segway without the handle bars.)

Well, he was passing out flyers for a "Vape Store"... I had forgotten my E-juice, so I think...perfect, I'll go grab some juice and check out the Vapes.

Ended up being talked into buying a Dark Knight-Brave portable.

Got caught up in the fancy LED display with 10 degree temperature control, all ceramic oven, was going to walk away from it because the mouthpiece was plastic... But...he stopped me and said..

"I have so much confidence in this Vape, I will give you your money back."

Fuck!!! All I can taste is plastic, and they set up two VERY thin vapor paths that merge into one somewhere hidden within the inaccessible body.

It really reminded me of a Davinci OG and a miVape having a baby.

The thing that bothers me the most, this COULD HAVE been an Awesome Vape, if they simply used a straight Stainless Steel tube as the vapor path and the mouthpiece.... Probably a 25 cent or less modification could have made this a very nice portable.

I'm very much doubting the fact that this guy can really give me a refund, that's just the way this industry works.

Life lesson learned.

Sorry for the off topic Mods.... I love you guys

Not sure if someone had posted anything similar but I made a wand stand out of a wire hanger and it has worked very well. Still new and not too familiar with how to post pictures so here's a link as well.
