Atmos Boss

If you want piece of mind just run a few cycles make sure any plant matter that fell in is vaped up then poke it..if you can find a very fine needle you can stir up what's in there had it happen prior to putting my screen in the bottom..you can also try when the chamber is cool to find the nearest hole on the outside of the heating chamber and blow in it while plugging the other three to push out what's stuck..that should blow most everything out of your heating chamber..oh yes do this while holding the chamber upside down..gravity is your friend

I tried poking around in the hole with a paper clip while it was hot and I couldn't get anything out.. BUT it did loosen something up, because i got more air flow. Was able to get some decent hits but i can tell its still a little clogged in there. I'm going to get a screen for bottom of chamber and hopefully whats left in the air holes will eventually clear out somehow!!
Other than that im still not sure if there's some.kind of liquid I can pour in there if I managed to cover the battery connection etc...... Hmmm.

Wouldn't mess w any sort of liquid..maybe some canned air will do the trick..also I've noticed when the battery is starting to drain the hits are jot as dense so give it a full charge..wish ya luck

After a couole more sessions its already working perfect again!
Getting a screen tmrw so it doesn't happen again !!
Thanks for the advice!, much appreciated

And on a side note . I noticed lots of ppl complaining about not getting good hits!!. Id bet the main reason is lack of air flow.
I recommend letting you're herb sit
Loose in the chamber and not packing it tight at all... You dont need a lot in the chamber!!

Best of luck yall

Just got an Atmos Boss, sealed.
I am so disapointed its not even funny.

Battery lasted for around 5 sessions. Yes, I switched it on around 8 times and the battery is dead... The battery was charged as directed by the manual.
No visible vapour at all.
Hole in the bottom of the chamber easily blocked with no way of cleaning.
Ceramic filter was chipped.

And even thinking about what sort of hoops I have to go through to get this working or refunded is causing me hassle already.

Even worse is I spent the whole day looking at reviews, and I swear they all must of been paid for, there was not 1 negative review on youtube from all the people peddling it.

Great welcome to vaping, thanks Atmos.
Not happy at all. What a waste of money, and thats coming from a soon to be again smoker.

The only good thing that came of this is I found some nice dry leaf tobacco. I'm off to roll a blunt.
Peace.

Volute of Vapor
My unit produces visible vapor...although when I got it I got the same feeling but I put a screen in the bottom of the bowl to avoid air inlet clogging, I don't pack it too tight to help draws and I add another screen on the top of my load to avoid mp clogging.
Now I get visible vapor after 2 or 3 hits and the vapor is thicker at the 2nd round, I make 3 rounds and abv comes out perfectly browned.
I like to use in a restaurant or when I only wants some quick hits around the corner!

Ok, I understand the device a bit better, its kinda a one hit wonder and mainly intended for weed. There is no enjoyment out of only getting 1 or 2 hits, unless its weed.

This device is not a replacment for someone who wants to stop smoking.
Also, the battery is really really bad for someone looking to vape throughout the day at home.

most of portables vaporizer are in this average battery longlife, 5 bowls with 3 sessions per bowl is enough good imo, even the Crafty can't claim this sort of autonomy.

To vape at home you need a desktop vaporizer, portables are not designed for a continous use, and they are a pia to load!

The boss is not what a combuster wants to use for a first impression to vaping...for a pen style vape for cumbusters I suggest the imag..the boss is a niche pen for people..discrete quick sesssions as mentioned for public places your 15min break at work..etc..also remove the ceramic filter in the mouthpiece and place a screen in the chamber it will give you a noticeable difference in vapor production. I own both the boss and imag and they are both used daily..boss for work and the drive home and the imag for a night session w the wife

My first vape was an Iolite I purchased a year ago and got rid of about a year later when I took a break from cannabis. I decided to quit combusting several weeks ago and purchased the Atmos Boss.

So it was my reintroduction to vaping and I have to say I was pleased with it. I've gotten some pretty big clouds out of it and it's surprisingly efficient. It performed well enough to where I never felt the urge to combust instead. That said, it does have a bit of a learning curve, my experience with the Iolite helped a lot there.

I find it a bit inconsistent with regards to visual vapor, but it's probably because I'm still experimenting with grind size and load amount. Even when the vapor isn't very visible I still get medicated. But sometimes it puts out some nice dense vapor.

I use it stock without any mods. I tried taking the ceramic piece out and didn't notice any improvement, the vapor did seem a bit hotter without it. I might put a screen in the bottom eventually.

I've been meaning to write some second impressions but I've been busy with my E-Nano and also a bubbler I just got. The other day I discovered the Boss mouthpiece fits perfectly in the E-Nano gongs, so I plan on using the Boss through some water soon.

Hey yall,

great, small vaporizer with true vape, no combustion, even after reheating. Maybe not the best for heavy dosage patients, but best on the go stealth vape I know. Heats up fast, works and looks like a regular cigarette substitute, so I can use it literally everywhere in public where ecigs are accepted. Neutral to good taste, best vape possible for a non-combusting device imo. I like that it lets me consume the better of some 0,2 gr of weed with just a couple tokes wthin less than 2 minutes. After its out, I stir up the chamber, while reheating, and the next few sesonds I can inhale whats left in the herbs.

The plastic part in the heating chamber can be removed in case of clogging, as it is not glued or melted/sintered into the chamber. Some determined but sensitive wiggling of the connection piece screwed into it will loosen it, other ways will work too. Below the steel chamber is a sort of silicone pan, and its all quite easy to clean. Better remember (or film) how exactly everything fits in. Done this twice, and 2nd time I was a bit too cannabized and broke it.

Beware of knock offs though. I bought two originals for some 25% off list price on amazon, and then for just a couple euros less, I bought a definite rip-off. The original should look pretty much exactly like on manufacturers site, or it might be a fake. Bought a replacement heating chamber "too" cheap (see above) and it was a fake, didn't work on the original battery and looked a lot different. Bought this from a company that also sells very cheap but imo genuine Atmos Jewels. So if you wanna buy this baby, inform yourself about the features and compare to what you see offered. Some rip offs will mention different time the temperature is maintained after heating up. Anything else than the original 75 seconds, and its likely to be a fake.

A word on Alibaba et.al, coming from someone with quite some professional experience in importing all sorts of products from china : there are actually almost no unbranded original products in any kind of line. Even when the same factory exports them, which manufactures for the brand company: if its unbranded, its most probably not made under the same quality assurance and equal specifications and acceptance levels (AQL). Don't get me wrong: chinese companies can be excellent manufacturers of highest quality products, but after all, you never get more, than what you paid for. So when the battery of your 80% discount device dies after a few days, maybe not blame the brand company. Just sayin...

I believe this vape doesn't get the respect it deserves, perhaps because of Atmos' prior reputation. It's not the best vape ever but it definitely holds its own and the form factor is very nice. The battery capacity is also really good for its size.

I let my friend who has a Pax 2 use it and he was impressed. He was initially skeptical when I first told him about it.

A note to the mods, I feel this should be moved to the main part of the Portable Vaporizer section, instead of E-Cig based portables, as this is basically the same as a TVape or Imag+.

I actually like the feature as it helps conserve herb and battery life, and you can always turn it right back on and keep hitting it, even before the light turns blue. At worst it's a minor inconvenience. It has saved me from wasting herb many times late at night when I'm watching tv and zone out.

I totally agree. You can easily switch it on a second or third time in a row, although a third time is normally not necessary.
