The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Moving to this topic after switching to a Mighty due to overheating issues with my Crafty.

And now for a CU fast cleaning pro-tip, hope hasn't been mentioned already:

Get the CU out of the unit without disassembling it and tilt it in a 45º angle (big hole looking up) and have the mouthpiece tip turned in the open position (as if you were using it). Fill the big hole (screen one) with ISO till it can't get any more and make an airtight seal with both fingers around both holes (heater intake and mouthpiece tip). Shake the motherfucker for a minute or two, rinse and repeat for best results.

Now open the CU and make a final fast cleaning with the brush and ISO if you want to get it fully clean, shouldn't be much remaining at this point.

Sparkling clean CU in less than 3 minutes (1 minute if in a hurry), tested after 1 week of daily use.

I call it the solo-stem method ;)

You remove the Orings I presume after on the wipe clean or no? @Churrucaman
Depends on how lazy I feel I guess. A water rinse, opening it if you have the time and a little help of the brush usually does it for me so guess that's a no.

I usually do this every two days or so and make a full cleaning every two weeks (including orings). Before I usually made like a deep cleaning every 4-6 days.

Sometimes when I've used a strain I don't like or have the mouthpiece taste unpleasant or don't want to take the time I do a fast 1 minute alcohol shake, water rinse, blow (without opening) and everything tastes like it should.

I have got my eye set on both the Mighty as well as a log vape - currently leaning towards the Underdog/Voltage Keeper combo due to battery portability.

Just curious to hear from those who have both the Mighty and the Underdog/Nano as to how they compare in terms of vapor production, taste and density. I would definitely be using it with a water bubbler of sorts and connecting the Mighty to a gong for this.

I will probably just get them both before all is said and done........but the commentary would very likely help me decide what to get first.

I get nice bong hits with my mighty but I had to make a glass adapter which is the @elmomuzz method..to me the mighty doesn't milk a piece as well when u have the cooling unit still attached..there are adapters for the mighty that keep the cooling unit in place that do work but it's better with the unit removed imo.. I don't have an underdog but have used one and understand that they are a treat used with water. I would go with mighty because it is a cloud machine used dry and doesn't need water but can be used with water.

First impression of the mighty
So I just got the mighty last night and gotta say it's a nice step up from the flowermate. When people were saying no draw resistance wasn't to sure how they meant it, but found its literally like inhaling air. Do wish there was a little bit so could feel liking I'm hitting it, but enjoy it because can draw how I'd like, a big quick hit, slow and steady hits or inbetween, the choice is mine. Vapor comes out a lot cooler then the flowermate too. Still hack when hit it to hard but a bit less of a throat iritant then the flowermate. Saw someone posted a pic of a glass mouth piece for the mighty which may have to get, think feel better to have lips on. As for effects, definitely does a great job. Was taking me 4 five bowls to get feeling good on the flowermate, two bowls in the mighty and I was soaring pretty sky high last night. And works much faster. Went through those two bowls in about 12 or so minutes while the same with the flowermate would take more around 20ish min. Still going need bit more time get use to but so far all in all very happy with my purchase.

If you have a mflb glass mp you can use an o ring and get the same experience rather than spending $20 and waiting on an overseas shipment.

They don't fold down though. That has always been the drawback with doing that.
I would take the glass mp out after the session anyway as I would not want to break it. Being able to fold for me personally doesnt matter. I would however pay a pretty penny for a retractable glass mp that is protected when not in use like the ascent. Id also like a no spill mini vubbler that seals in the mp opening!

Has anyone had issues with draw resistance on the Mighty? The first time I used it there was almost zero resistance and it was beautiful coming from a Pax1, but ever since my first session I'm getting a lot of draw resistance comparable to the Pax1. And I've only used it about 5 times with dry herbs. So now I'm kinda bummed out cause the experience isn't as enjoyable anymore. My CU and filling chamber are 100% clean so I have no clue what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most people that report these issues find out that their CU's weren't as clean as they thought. After a thorough clean they tell us that the unit is functioning like new again.

Try soaking your CU in ISO for 30 mins and see if it helps.

To piggy back on what @Stinky said, I would check the cooling unit again and focus on the mouthpeice if there is no draw resistance with the cooling unit off the unit, see if the bottom screen is clogged/blocked (if you only used it five times, doubt it will be)

So my guess is there is plant dust logged in the cooling unit

*if you soak the cooling unit, make sure you take it apart first

Like biohacker said, I find that I get a lil more resistance when I pack dense, but nothing like the pax.

Edit: does anyone know how to get the orings clean without ISO?

Just spotted a glass mouthpiece for the Mighty/Crafty on the frontpage of Vapefiend.co.uk and had to order one to try :) (and a Jyarz Chico)
http://www.vapefiend.co.uk/crafty-p...path=crafty/mighty-easy-flow-glass-mouthpiece

I just got a piece like that from them. Tried it out on Monday. Not bad. I'm not sure how much I will use it though. Since the glass is always pointed up, I handle The Mighty with kid gloves while it is in.

It will certainly be something I dabble with here and there at home, but I will never take that out on the town. Too easy to break/lose.

Have you clicked on the link? It looks like this one does bend down and looks to be the same shape as the original mouthpiece. I think you're talking about the MFLB stem that they were modifying and selling to fit the Mighty.
