Discontinued Haze Dual V3

Thx Mr. Snacks! Exciting times here! I met a bunch of my coworkers yesterday and I can already tell this is the place for me!

I feel very fortunate to be given this opportunity to work on something I love with such great people. The ownership has done a fabulous job putting a young, dedicated and creative team together to support the Haze.

And what you see now is just the tip of the iceberg! My boss is rather ambitious and has many irons in the fire right now. The V3 is being finalized but it doesn't stop there! Thats all I can say now but I can't wait to share when we are ready to go! For now we all need to be patient (most of all myself) because I am learning quickly that even small changes to an already proven product can take significant time to change.

I've noticed the switch on mine is getting stiff too. Was it resin buildup underneath that caused it to fail? I clean mine daily but that's one area it's impossible to get at.

I believe that it is resin, I didnt hear or notice it was broken though. One day I decided to take a flashlight and see how the switch opened and shut so I pointed the light in the vapor path and I noticed light in both compartments (half open in each) I switched it and nothing moved. I then waited til my new one arrived and my suspicions were confirmed when the new one open and shut correctly.

Haze owners, don't know if this has been addressed, but DO NOT GET ALCOHOL ON YOUR PAINT. Today on accident I got my unit in concentrate, the part on the back with little holes. So I put it on a paper towel soaked with alcohol. Came back about 5 mins later and the paint was coming off and all over my hands. Just letting you guys all know not to make the same mistake.

I really do like the idea of running both heating chambers at the same time. This would rock a water pipe with a huge amount of combo hit possibilities. Wax in one herb in two, hook up to the bubbler and away we go. I can see how that would drain a battery rather quickly so perhaps the answer is in a direct AC connection. Make the Haze run-able under battery power and plugged in. I understand that this would require some major re-engineering on Hazes part but having that capability would put the Haze off the chart as the go to portable with a major in home use component. Make that idea work and these things would sell themselves!

Yeah, gotta be careful with the alcohol. I clean mine every morning, very very carefully.

One improvement that I'd love to see would be a micro-USB connector on the unit itself so you could charge it with the battery installed. That would solve 2 of my problems - forgetting to remove the battery to charge it, and leaving the house with the Haze and no battery :D

My switch just broke, too. It still moves and turns on the heat, but the sleeve doesn't rotate. I've been careful about cleaning but it did seem to get harder to move after a while. Guess I'll be sending it in.
Sounds like a matter of time before mine goes too. Has Haze ever mentioned anything we can do to prevent this from happening or what's causing it (I expect it's resin buildup but who knows?). Hope they get it sorted before V3.

For those of you familiar with Massdrop and are looking for a ready to go water tool solution, they have the Magic Flight Box Water tool up for $62 shipped. Its a very nice little bubbler that comes complete with 2 whips so you can hook up the Haze easily to it.

Heres the link if you want to see what one looks like. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/mflb-orbiter-water-tool

I've used the Orbiter with my Haze lots of times. The whip fits snugly over the stem of the Haze. The Orbiter has a restricted draw, if that bothers anyone, but otherwise it is a great bubbler. I love mine.

Wow its about time.... So like 10 days ago I sent my stealth Haze in for repair via 3 day priority. Its finally delivered. Now I just have to wait to get it back. Is there a warranty tracking page for Haze? I was given a RMA number but is that for me or just for Haze.?? Does Haze let you know when they send the unit back with a tracking number?

Yup, you will get a tracking number when they ship it out to you.

I had to send mine in too...

Turnaround was about 3 days or so.

Thanks for the help guys. Just to clarify It's not Haze's fault for the long USPS adventure. I sent the package to them and it just got there today mid morning. I was told by USPS that there were a lot of storm delays. I'm very Happy its with Haze now tho so I can stop worrying about a lost package..

That's what I love about @Haze Vaporizers. They never really had to endure growing pains with their customer service, it has been stellar from day 1.

I am real excited that @scottg402 is joining the team in an official capacity. He's always been a great resource for vaping in general, but it's really cool to see him moving forward with Haze in an official capacity.

I can't wait to see what haze puts out next.

Is there a safe or easy way to clean the top swing switch? Mine is getting a bit tougher to move and Im afraid it may break unless I can clean it properly. I havent seen any advice on cleaning the switch and much as I believe in the quality of Haze's customer service, I would rather not have to take advantage of their services. Since others have had this issue I figured I'd ask the pros the best way to handle the issue. That would be you guys!

I asked the same question a week or so back and got no replies. I had to contact Haze about an order I placed yesterday and I asked about the switch problem but was just told to keep cleaning it and it should be fine. The problem is you can't get under the swing switch to clean it. They're aware it's a problem and hopefully V3 will address it.

Guys, I have had a number of units and never had this problem as long as I kept it clean. How many sessions between cleanings for you guys?

Regarding the lack of response you have my apologies. I am literally moving my things into GA as I type this. 12 hour drives down here and countless hours of packing have me ready to throw in the towel! It will all be worth it soon and I will be more accessible to address your needs here on FC.

Congrats Scott....I am in the middle of an interstate move myself so I understand the pain. I will still have ties here in GA since my family is here of course but life takes you different places as you know. I am sure that you will love GA as I do and also the good people of Haze. Maybe one day, I can retire myself and see if I could chase my dreams.

For the rest of my FC Brotherhood, I could not contribute much lately since i am so busy with the move but I will get back on as soon as I can. About the cleaning of the switch, this happens to me mostly when I use the concentrates although it is rare. I recommend cleaning deep. I have a pistol brush which i wrap thin layer of ISO cotton and get in there. I also stick the needle end to the small holes with the same ISO thin paper. It takes care of it. Hope this helps. Looking forward to what is next from Haze and Scott :)

Looking forward to hearing you finally get settled, I know it is no easy task in this stagnant heat.

Just getting educated about the Haze and have a lot of reading to do. For some of you other posters not so busy with a move, how would you all describe the latest versions draw resistance?

All depends on the pack tbh.
