That's great i wan't that on a shirt.

The Nano has really improved over the past 17 months. I like most of the changes a lot especially the inside bottom being ss now, But the way it stops the stems now makes my old ones not fit properly it even stops a good mm or so short, That and it killed a U.d stem. :( The good does outweigh the bad by far tho. I was do for some new stems anyway can't wait to try them out monday.

Good afternoon everyone :)

Been playing with the screen depth again, i've pushed it 1'' down in my gong. I have my temp raise to 7.75 and i must say its almost perfect.

It's cool because you can see the herb in the gong (depending on your piece I suppose) and pretty much watch it extract which I like. You also get quite a few milky and tasty hits. The only downside is that you do have to watch it after a few though, you can char it.

I love how much play this thing has :) I'd love to get a custom gong made because I would like to try and push it down further but my gong wont hold the screen any further.

Playing with fire, I like it. I think with the screen lowered in a GonG and the heat turned up the E-Nano is as close as you're gonna get to a combustion-like experience. Finding the limit is fun. Be careful, if you let it sit at 7.75 for too long and then hit you might combust even though it wasn't doing it during a session. That heat build up caught me off guard. I've step over the edge a few times. What a horrible experience.

Oh yeah, I've been there already haha. What I find helps is keeping air flow going with a fan in the room your nano is in helps with the heat. I have a fan sitting in my window frame all day and if I turn that off my nano will get very warm on the outside. That's when you're really playing with fire. If its like that I'll turn it down and wont even put in on the gong all the way. It really does suck when it happens but I haven't had it combust in a few weeks now so that's really nice :)

Combustion will decommission a piece of mine for a few days. Doesn't taste right till it's cleaned.

Well so much for my experiment with my glass fixed screen, only used it 3 times. Must have been faulty, I didn't drop it. It came apart at where the glass fixed screen is. A hassle sending back - too expensive. I guess I could take a pic and send it to Epicvape - I did enjoy it very much.

This isn't Epic's fault, it's just unfortunate. Good thing I always buy 2 when I buy glass. Not sure if it qualifies for another because it's glass.
I've been really happy with the adjustable basket stems they have all held up with no problems, have even dropped them a few times and with being such thick glass and the silicone end, it didn't break.

Definitely looks like a manufacturing issue. Glad you're getting straightened out and that Nadia was so quick on the draw. She is AWESOME!

Still prefer the adjustable ss screens, but will have to pull some glass screened pieces out and give them another whirl. Just got some new stuff that has many of those sweet little nugs in it and have found these seem to do best with glass screens. Will probably do lightly, then instead of stirring throw them into the dish for light grinding mortar and pestle style and then finish with other screens. SS screen on glass works well, but would just as soon leave that out and keep the ground for other type.

nano is so damned versatile!! I play with lower depths, larger loads and higher heat, but still come back to small loads close with lower heat. IMO the taste drops off in first 2 or 3 hits no matter how many you get out of the load, and prefer that to finishing up a larger load where those 6 - 10 hits on a larger load just don't seem as tasty. Still glad to hear others are enjoying it like that and must admit it makes things easier when you have 3 or 4 people working from the same nano. Also, taste doesn't seem to suffer as much when going dry with a little lower heat - and do enjoy kicking back with a bit of a larger load through a j-hook.

Think part of the problem with combusting is the heat buildup with higher dial setting, but part of it probably that you are drying out the load with every hit. By the time you start getting to 8th, 9th, 10th or more hit it is very dry and more prone to going up in smoke. Once you do, it is definitely time for a GonG cleaning and fresh water in the bubb!

Don't really get turning the heat up and putting a fan on it, though. Seems counterproductive/counterintuitive to me. But, if it is working have at it and share all the tips you figure out. Interested to know what you come up with because run into the same issue some this time of year. Fan is on to keep ME cool - not the nano - but find I need to kick up heat about 1/2 notch or more to keep performance at same level.

Oh I just meant if I have a fan on and airflow going in the room it stays cool. I don't have it directed at my nano.

My issue with using it a lower temps and the screens higher is that I don't have the patience to play with my draw speed after the first few hits. I find that I'll get 2 solid milky hits then its just meh for me. So far today this is my first using it all day with the screen at 1'' and temp set to 7.75 and I haven't had to worry about combustion. It hasn't even really been charring at all either. Doesn't really loose taste till the 3rd hit but its done by then. Kinda my preference. I typically pack the regular .2. I've defintely gotta try a big bowl on a low temp and puff away.

I feel your pain, I just received my first glass screen gong today, as I was inspecting it, it broke!!!! right where yours broke. This is a sad day today and my first dissapointment with epic. I did realize that the build quality from this gong is less than the build quality from the adjust the screen gong. I dont want to bash epicvape as I have been very very happy with my e nano, they could possibly be using a third party manufacturer to make these glass screen gongs, but I hope they look into it, to avoid future headaches and frustrations between customers. I will be contacting Epicvape, to see if hopefully they can replace it.

Here is a pic, after it broke I took off the silicone to show cleary where it broke.

It looks like it broke at the seam where the glass screen is, exactly where my stem broke. Epic will make it right for you.

Went camping this weekend in our RV, we have electricity. I'm not much of a hardcore live off the land, tent camper. Brought my nano and Air along. Been using my nano mostly. I have my wifi hot spot and iPad so I could bring FC along.

Went to the Med Farmers Cannabis Market and picked up some nice strains this morning. Currently have some Blue Kush in the Nano. The Mr is sleeping, snoring away and I'm wide awake. Hopefully this will help me to relax. Did quite a bit of walking and I'm having some muscle cramping, damn arthritis.

Earlier we went to a Winery, ate and listened to some wonderful music.

Yes, it might be a faulty spot, its funny. It felt like it was actually meant to come off, I was like wow, I can detach the screen part and then I looked closely at the rest of the gong and Im like wait a minute, it broke!! It seemed like it just slide off and was purposely a two piece item. Yes, I have just sent an email out, hopefully expecting a response by Monday.

Wow, by the sound of things, it seems that you are having an amazing time. Im so jealous. Lol

Does the elctricity in your RV hold up as if were the electricity in your house In refrence to using the nano. Meaning does the e nano warm up in the same time and just as good in the house?

Nano works the same in my RV as it does in my home with the electricity. Our little home away from home, it's 37ft, even has a washer/dryer combination.

Sounds very nice!!!

Your temp settings are same? That's very cool! My V1 seems to fluctuate more with different sources than my newer one. Still seems I usually have to adjust just a little depending on where I'm plugging in. But, no big because settings when out usually depend on how strong a vapor is preferred by whoever I happen to be with, too.

Hey all!

Just wanted to share that my Scoop-N-Stir vape tool now available for sale!!

IMG_0307__86228.1434908708.1280.1280.JPG

This tool was specifically designed for the E-Nano, but it works great for other vaporizers (I've been using it with my LSV, Pax1, Indica, Lotus, and Ascent with no issues)

The scoop side is AWESOME at scooping very small quantities of herbs (around 0.05g) into the stem. I find this loose pack works much better than my previous "vacuum" method for loading. So for you convection vaporizer owners, this scoop is worth it!

The stir side has seen quite an evolution.... I started with 5 teeth and 1 center post. After 4 revisions, I've ended up with 3 equally spaced diamond teeth. A simple twist of your fingers back and forth is enough to fully stir the load.

I've been testing for the past few days and LOVE the stir tool. It seems to keep the basket screen cleaner than my previous toothpick for string.

Using this tool has changed my routine with the Nano. Previously I'd suck up the herbs into the stem, and get 5-6 puffs (with the top of the herbs slightly roasted by the heat). Now with the scoop I load a much smaller fluffier load, and I take 1 solid drag, then stir and take a second hit. After that the herb is cached and the stem reloaded if necessary. (Note, I have tested the vacuum method and the stir tool - also works well, but still develops the roasted flavor)

(Yes the price is high for the size of the tool, sadly that's due to the overhead in outsourcing 3D printed metal parts. I'm still looking for other vendors to print this tool at a cheaper price)

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!

The new stem's are so much better than the old one's i have. The dry stem even fixed that mp issue i had with the old one's, Now i don't have to wrap my lip's around it and possibly drool in it. The fixed screen was also down a couple mm too far, This one does not have that issue however it's not the fixed glass screen i ordered, I'm guessing i got this one because the current one's seem to be showing up flawed? If so thank you i'd much rather have one that's sure to hold up.
