Underdog Log Vapes

Great Scott!
The Jester is doing just great. I don't think much got in the actual heater. All smell seems gone.

When I'm feeling a little better for a while I plan on making a video of the mobius being milked by the Jester. Still going so strong.

All nylon. I had the option to go with a couple of NonGs as well, but decided to just stick with the basics for now.
Ah gotcha, didn't realize you had the aircore. I understand it heats up really fast. I love the simplicity of these things and it's all about variation in how deep you put the stem and how long you wait. With my nylon stems I sometimes inset, draw then as I draw I vary the engagement of the stem and as such the temperature.

I know this has been asked and answered, but I can't find it now.

Is the older #10081 PA ok to use? I had an extra one that I've been using for a few weeks as a replacement. I was going to ask before, but forgot until I saw the slim one on the site.

Yeah should be fine, we've just switched to the slimline one because it's smaller and lighter.

Soooo, my pup was waiting for me when I got home from work. All I can say after half a dozen stems is, I can't wait to get another! Thank you so much Underdog and underdogette! This thing is amazing, and you two are fantastic. Thanks for the goodies and the ultra fast shipping as well. I'm sure I'll have more to say in the coming days, but you definitely have another fan in me.

I know this is a stupid question but I don't understand why, on other threads, when people talk about buying a log vape, they act like the enano is the only one out there. I haven't tried an enano and I'm sure it's good but why haven't more people heard about the UD. I love that mine came with so many stems and the oil cup. I an old beeswax candle and take bits of it off when I use my lavender oil.

ordered basic underdog. Came in, turned on, vaped 3 stems, run a bit hot for me but I have lab PS on the way. Vaped 3 stems again, replaced screen, loaded posted, going to vape 3 more stems now. This thing is amazing, I'm so wacked right not lol (a body can only vape so much C99 and blue dream in one go ). I saw it and my FIRST thought was, it's so pretty... I should have paid of one of the special and super finely finished woods. So that's gonna be my next one, then I picked it up and thought "a bit light, I want more thermal mass" so my next one (god only knows how long this will be from now), will be a custom with some kind of dark probably reddish tight grain hardwood with an extremely fine finish that is much larger than normal (with the full custom holder and premium tools set). <-- That. will be my publish show on the table piece, always ready to go, and probably with some staple strains broke up, a volly of stems. Comes kind of dry, so you get to apply the butter to season and protect it from huimidity and ingress (heck even skin oils over time). It's soaking up it's third or 4th coat now (yeah, 4th... goodness this thing is potent).

I am enjoying the hell out of this, I look forward to runnning this 24.7 for years to come.

Not to undercut this thread, and I concur the UD is as functional as it is beautiful. But I'd suggest getting on the HI (heat island) list. They are every bit as powerful, if not more so. And just as beautiful, with custom wood. And the accessories are mostly interchangeable. The list is free, and theres a reason the wait is around a year.

I have both UD's and Nano's. Recently my RedwoodDog has definatly taken over! My BuckeyeDog runs a bit cool and I'm stillllllllll waiting on my vvps...(caugh caugh). I will say tho my nano handles concentrates better but this is also fixed with a vvps I'm sure. The best solution IMO is keep buying wood from snappo and get all the logs lol. All I need now is for my turn to come up with Alan so I can get my Hi's and see how they stack up. I'm sure my dogs will still see plenty of love!!

and now I try again, not so big

Ok cool got it, and thanks a bunch :)

So this is how I get my seal, I cut about a 3 mm length of tubing from the flashvape (any small enough will do), and forces it over the nipple inside the log and down to the base (simply press the stem to the bottom to seat the seal, it'll do for now). This helps get my glass temps more up. The nylon stems work plenty hot just by their insertion and tight clearances (painfully harsh to my sensitive lungs but I can feel the 'haze' kickin in when I vape the nylons). The glass stems give me that 'functional high', I do love the smooth and not as painful glass.

Note, the underdog is fine, my lungs are really sensitive to heat, maybe it's the dryness I dunno. Since I don't need the portable the underdog is all I ever use anymore, no FV no solo.

thanks for the compliments on the dog guys :) Yeah, that's just the regular one but once warmed up give repeated coats to soak in and burn off. Something seems to stay behind and add more color to the grain when this happens. At first it looked just like SkynkyLove's and in some places the color is not perfectly even but as you can see even the regular cheaper prices wood can show quite a lot of character :) You just cannot beat the appearance of natural wood grain with synthetics.

Just wait ! with more use and underbutter your dog will just get even more beautiful with age.
