they really are a great company. I can tell by the fact that you made an account here just to post this, that you are just as in love with the unit as i am! There is also tons of great info on this website for you so enjoy your time here!
There is another post on the grasshopper thread that is very similar. The individual describes his medical condition and hopes that the GH will function as well as his haze. I'm shocked this isn't a more popular vaporizers. If I was on a budget and had to buy one portable, it would be the haze because it can do wax and flowers extremely well. Even though I haven't tried it yet, I'm confident And excited for my first session (based on season vaporists I trust- I know it's all subjective but a point of reference is needed. Think I'm Going to start off with some shatter.

A lot of folks are just catching on to what several of us have known since the Haze came out. This thing ROCKS!

That said a lot of folks won't go out and take the chance like some of us early adopters did. They want to let the "new vape" bugs be worked out before invest their hard earned cash.

Or to your point, maybe they are just noticing the versatility of this beast.

Or maybe they were unsatisfied with the OG temp settings that Haze listened about and made these awesome changes.

Or possibly the higher end $250 price tag was too much for an unknown vape. They needed to wait for enough testimonials before they were comfortable with that kind of investment.

Or people are taking notice of the world class service @Haze Vaporizers provides and want to get in on the action.

Or maybe they are taking notice of the big hearts the Haze team has in their backing of the Pay-It-Forward program and that's a reason to get involved now.

Who knows? It could be any number of these things or others......

As an early adopter myself I'm very pleased to see what's happening. I look at it as Haze finally getting it's due credit. If Haze keeps up like they've started they are going to build the type of customer loyalty that will keep them around for a long time! This is a smart team folks. They are making all the right moves so far so let's sit back and see what they come up with next. I for one cannot wait!

They did it again with their great customer service. I received my haze yesterday and purchased a Wong, but Unfortunately the Wong wasn't ready at that point. So they are sending me the wong with some extra cans for the inconvenience.Sweet!

Those wongs actually come from Ed who is also part of this forum and he does amazing work with custom parts. I bought 2 of those and they are totally amazing. I wish he made 18mm version of those. I would get another one.

Nice post @scottg402

Well deserved @Haze Vaporizers

I have nothing but great things to say. They care a lot about our needs and what we have to say. That is old school thinking with new school technology.
Watch out vape companies, HAZE is coming to take it.

What's wrong with the WonG? I'm pretty sure those came from @Ed's TnT originally. I got one of the first ones he made and mine worked perfectly. I use it all the time.
Nothing is wrong with the Wong. They just forgot to send it with my unit. I emailed them last night and got an email this morning apologizing, and are sending with some extra cans for the inconvenience.

What is the first thing I try, flowers or concentrates? I forgot, I can do both!!!!!! I think I will use the conduction screen with some OG and the other with a can of shatter.

Just don't store the shatter in the other chamber opposite of your bud unless you plan to keep the unit horizontal. The ambient heat is enough to melt it but won't vaporize anything.

Store the wax can separate from the unit and drop it in when you are ready to use it.

This could save you a mess. Especially since you will just be getting used to it.

Place a thin layer of well ground flower at the bottom of the can. Place a dab or two over it. Place another thin layer of flower on it. Place the lid and drop the can inside the chamber. Set it to temp 3 or 4 (if you are a V2.5 user). Come back and like my post here (just kidding :) ).

Enjoy your weekend @mixchu69

In search of the best terps and smoothest vapor
I have an 18mm WonG on order. If you PM Ed or email him through his website, he can make you a custom one. You just have to pay up front and it takes 2-4 weeks.

Edit: My plan is to pair it with a a GBD Assasins Necktie for a sweet portable water setup.

I bought this hoping it would replace my Pax, which I've had for two years and has functioned properly since day one. It didn't come close to outperforming it since not one unit I recieved worked. The hardware is faulty and that is shown in the amount of changes made to it since its launch less than a year ago.

I've never had to interact with Pax's service so I can't say that their's is any better but I have a feeling Haze gets a lot more practice at it and swaps out product so easily that it garners good reviews.

I wanted to judge the unit based on its on merits and not compare it to other vapes but since nothing from Haze worked, I am unable to. Pax, when taken apart, is only four pieces. Not a lot at all.

Vape pens suck and that is why I went straight to the Haze. It simply didn't work. Three times.

Yeah. No vape is for everyone but the cool thing about this forum is that everybody share their opinion and they are listened. That is why I like this forum.

And yes whIle your luck is pretty bad on this one @akarileyescobar , unfortunately defects can be common in the portable vape market. I have had my fair share from several different manufacturers including one of the most expensive portables out. I respectfully disagree with your assessment that these changes were made as a result of 'faulty hardware'. You are starting to sound like you work for Wizard Puff with that comment and the one about the Pax only being four pieces.

Take a look on some if the other threads like the Ascent, Crafty, MiniVap and Firefly. A lot of vapes have growing pains and ongoing design revisions.

But understand that most of the changes Haze has made have been fine tuning to enhance performance and improve the user experience.

Since many vapes go through these growing pains it becomes more important to know how the manufacturer will react to these events. This is where Haze excels and separate themselves from much of the competition.

Good luck in your quest to find that vape that makes you happy.

Oh and @mixchu69. I just noticed you changed your status line from "I can beat VAS" to "Enjoy life Vaping".

This is smart because looking at your time here on FC, your post count since coming aboard and looking how your vape collection has grown, it looks like VAS has been winning the war! :lmao:
I can keep fighting vas but I won't win. Now I realize that it is best to accept who you are and stop fighting it. I can't keep up with you scottg402, especially with all those plug-ins coming in. I will have to pick your brain when I decide to buy some of these plug-ins in the future

Also, I have the tendency to become addicted to a hobby for awhile then my level of interest drops. If I keep up my buying spree, I will be broke

I got my haze in the mail few days ago, and I love it so far, but I have one question. Is there a break-in period on this unit? I've heard here that you're supposed to get vapor production in the 1 temp setting. I need to be in 2 before I get any visible vapor, and 3 before I would consider it a legit vapor hit unless I'm using one of the type of screen. Thanks in advance

Where did you order it from? Sounds like you don't have a v2.5

Yes, to back Scott up (since I was in your situation recently) no vapor at 1 and wispy at 2 sounds like V2 not V2.5. If you tell us where you purchased we'd probably be able to help you better.
